We are currently in the process of removing drywall to expose the inner walls of the load bearing wall in a 1 1/2 storey home. We would also like an estimate for drywall installation once beam is in place. Please call ASAP as time is an issue so other renos can be completed. Would look at quotes >$3000.00 only (for beam). My husband and I just purchased the ugliest house in the world and need a professional to tell us if rebuilding is possible or just starting from scratch is the best. We want approx 2000 sq ft plus loft of finished basement that walks out. Needs 3 bedroom plus spare room/office, 2 x 4 pc bath and a guest bathroom. Nice architecture and finishes at the best price. We have money to get started and can finance if need be.
What will it cost? Best way to get started? Is getting a pre fab house smart?
