Hi There,
We had some damage to our main floor bathroom as our upper floor bathroom was leaking. The plumbing has been repaired but we now need to repair the drywall (2 holes) and paint the room. Can you please quote for just the drywall and then for both drywall and paint?
I have included photos as well.
Thanks
1200 SqF Basement apartment in Pickering.
This job requires
- resilient channels and 5/8 drywall ceiling (dwelling separation)
-tape, mud, etc
Start Time: Immediately.
Work hours: anytime ( Weekend & After hours is Ok with home owner also)
Please don't inquire if your not available within the next week or so.
I have a job in Pickering that needs taping. 13 sheets of drywall have been installed and is ready for taping. It is ceiling in a master bedroom and bathroom that we are renovating. I need a price from experienced tapers and work needs to start either tomorrow or Friday latest.
Please provide me a quote for the above.
I had a contractor work on this townhouse in Pickering that I'm looking to sell in early 2017. Like a trusting fool I paid him in advance and then he stopped doing work. After weeks of excuses I asked him to return the used portion of the money I paid to him on ful. Finally after months of chasing I got most of my unsued money back but left with a half done renovation.
So now its only about 50% done. I am not looking for a General contractor, I am looking for trades/sub trades etc to do various things such as:
-Repair all drywall holes on walls and ceilings made by electrician when he installed pot lights
-Repair a wall the previous contractor opened but totally screwed up and left it unfinished.
-Need 5-8 new doors and framing around the doors
-Need Baseboards installed throughout
-Need Trim around some windows and doors
-Need a tiler to tile the Small foyer and the bathroom upstairs.
-Need a hole to be drilled in the main floor kitchen to vent the exhaust fan to the outside
-Need upstairs dryer to be vented to the outside (through the roof?)
-Need a solution for the main stairs. There was old carpet on there, removed the carpet, the treads are natural wood color, the risers are white. The treads are in bad shape. Not sure if should sand and refinish or put laminate on the treads. Also the main stairs are very noisy not sure how to fix the noise.
-basement stairs is sturdy doesnt make noise. But either needs to be painted or laminated not sure.
-The railing of the stairs also needs to be replaced or sanded down and stained.
Please, dont promise something you are not comfortable or experienced with doing. This same contractor did tiles in my basement and they were all crooked(like each tile was up and down could cut your toes), I had to pay someone to come remove all the tiles and then had to deal with all the mess and pay another $500 for new tiles material and now have to pay $200 to get rid of all the garbage. I'm not picky or a perfectionist but work should be done within normal reason.
Drywall sections damaged due to 2nd floor bathroom flooding in kitchen and basement. Approx 10 sq total area that was cut out, to be repaired and re-finished.
New drywall ceiling (approx. 250 sqft) to be installed in family room. Currently has popcorn ceiling which was also damaged as 8 sqft area was cut out. The second option for the ceiling is to remove popcorn surface patch cut out section and refinish the whole ceiling.
Timing for above repairs is flexible.
I have cut a 2ft(H) by 20ft(W) section where I had water damage and:
-need new drywall put in and mudded/sanded (drywall needed is basic)
-new trim put on (basic trim)
I would like this done this weekend anytime Oct 1 or Oct 2, and can only be done this weekend...
