Hello,
I'd like a rough quote for some work I need on my house I just bought.
Remove in kitchen approximately 7ft length. ( non-supporting Wall).
Move the plumbing in the kitchen approximately six feet from its location. ( I have drawings for the exact location required ) fridge water line installed.
Tile the foyer and bathroom that the foyer is beside. Total tile area 90 Sq. I have the tile already selected.
Additionally I'd like a quote for building a subfloor in the basement. Approximately 550 Sq ft.
The following below will be is phases.
Master bathroom
Main bathroom
Potentially rebuild the deck
My son began erecting an office in the house, it is about 1/2 finished but now needs to be completed including some electrical re-wiring of overhead lights. We also need most of the interior of the house painted. Please contact me by email, so we can arrange to meet to get a written estimate?
The house is 11 years old, a 2700 square foot addition to the main house. The room is ground level, open concept, 25' x 25' approximately. Floor area for work to be done is laminate and ceramic at doorway/mudroom. The ceilings are 10'6" height.
I NEED this closet for out coats and boots! years ago used mudroom approximately 6 x 8' for dogs and kids things. (they are all grown up now) As well, need to remove the existing closet so I can use that extra few feet to put my pool table in. Need the space in the open concept room for sitting area, just not the pool table. Teens need their own space!
I would like to enclose and install a double door closet in my entrance way/mud room. The framing area is 6'1" X 8'6", would not need to "finish" the inside of the closet, as the other 3 walls are already finished. Lower than the ceiling as there is a trim/small beam that was purposely made incase I would choose to have a closet in the future!
I have an existing cupboard, on the backside of the mud room, that I would like removed. The height of the wall is 10'6" ceiling with double colonial cupboard doors, trim and of course frame. It is 6'1" wide. The other wall to be romoved is about 2-3 feet, that is the left side of the cupboard. There is a cool air return cover on the small wall, but when vent is taken off, there doesn't seem to be any duct work in there! Maybe my contractors made a dummy vent?? The other 2 walls are supporting walls (back of NEW closet to be made), one interior and the other is the house exterior wall.
There are no electrical outlets in the way for either area. There is one air/heat vent existing about one foot up on the wall, NOT the floor, where I would like the NEW cupboard installed. Easily use an extention duct and can have air come out near door area or ? Not too concerned, unless it would be easier to use ONE door for cupboard and then use an extention duct and put vent cover on the new outside wall of the cupboard.
I would prefer to use the existing material from the original closet that is being taken out. Anything that can be reused or bought at humane for humanity in Ajax or recycled items would be appreciated. Can buy new if need be for the 2x8 and 2x12's if it's better for you. Just would like to keep stuff out of our landfills if possible.
I hope that this is enough information, tried to explain it easily. Actually it seems like alot of words, but looks easier in real life...........Would also need dry wall put around the NEW closet opening. NO PAINTING REQUIRED. I will take care of that. Also NO FINISHING required on inside of NEW closet, just leave the wall studs as they are, no one is gonna see inside anyways.
I will put up drop sheets to make a dummy wall to keep the dust to a minimal from the upstairs living area. I am not picky or fussy, just have asthma and respirtory troubles .
Hope to hear from someone soon, would like this to be estimated asap as would like it done within the next two weeks. Please feel free to email me asap, to set up an appointment, thank you

We have a rotten beam in our carport and as a result, one of the posts that supports the carport had come off. We now have 6 posts to support the carport instead of the original 7 that used to support the carport. The rotted beam and the post need to be replaced.
Also, the carport is attached to the house and has a common roof with it. Part of the roof above the carport has a skylight, which is made of plastic, and which needs to be replaced with two 2X4 velux slylights. The rest of the roof need to be covered and the damaged rafters below it (within the carport) need to be replaced.
We would then like the whole roof for the house and carport to be stripped, appropriately stripped and re-shingled.
We have a building permit for this and are interested in getting this work done soon.
New separate basement entrance for a single family home in NW Pickering. Stirs need to be built be digging and cutting foundation wall on the side of the property.
We already have stamped engineer's drawings. Permits have been already applied with the City of Pickering and will be issued next week.
We need to start the construction as soon as possible once permits are received.
Thirty year old home (2200 sf) gradually sloping hallway on second story floor. Area is carpeted, would like to fix to install wood flooring or new carpeting. Perpendicular floor joists meet at that spot and run the length of the house. There are no visual signs of house shifting, like cracks in ceiling or walls.
I am looking at purchasing a back-split which has a crawl space. The approximate area of the crawl space is 500 sq. ft and is about 4 feet high. I would like to look into the feasibility of turning this space into a basement. I am searching for information and/or a consultant/ contractor in this field willing to come out to the property and submit an estimate.
Thanks
