Investigating leaks from an upstairs bathroom required that we cut a couple of holes in the Dining room ceiling.
This has left us with two slightly indented squares where the pieces of the ceiling were removed and replaced. Each square is about 15in x 15in. The ceiling itself is covered with a textured stucco-type material (popcorn?).
There is no obvious water damage from the leak itself. I don't expect to have to replace large sheets of drywall.
We essentially want to correctly patch the holes and re-apply the 'popcorn' ceiling texture to create a seamless ceiling.
Need to completely replace drop ceiling in a restaurant washrooms.
Total of about 350 sq/ft and each washroom has 4 5" potlights a heat fan 2 sprinklers and emergency lights that would remain the same.
Need it done by end of this week, work hours are from 1am to noon while the restaurant is closed only.
Please only reply if you can complete by end of week.
We have a T-shaped ceiling in our front hall which has suffered some water damage. We want to do the following:
1. Remove existing texture from ceiling
2. Patch the damaged drywall
3. Replace existing lights with 5 potlights
As a final step we are not sure if we want to restore the texture to the ceiling or to leave it flat and repaint - we are willing to take quotes both options.
The house is a sub-urban tract house built in 1994. The ceiling section under discussion covers about 100-120 square feet.
Thanks in advance
About 6 months ago i replaced the upstairs bathroom toilet. the old one had damaged the corner of the ceiling in my kitchen directly below the bathroom.
A piece of ceiling drywall needs to be replaced - about 4 feet square, in the corner of the kitchen ceiling.
The water damage has dried by now but the ceiling is in need of repair as I fear there was some dry rot.
The house is 35 years old and in good shape and repair.
I have a 320 sqft living/dining room with popcorn ceilings that I need skim coated ready for paint. The ceiling has been painted and will not come off so I imagine skim coating will be the best solution.
-Ceiling height is 8ft
-Popcorn has been painted
-Ready to start asap.
I'm looking for someone to scrape the stucco off of my hallway ceiling (I actually have to do the whole house, but looking to possibly start bit by bit). Mudding, sanding, priming and painting the ceiling after scraping as well. Looking for a contractor with experience in this area. Not sure size of the hallway. Entire home is 2920 square feet (including kitchen and bathrooms which are smooth already). Hallway may be around 400 sqft.
My name is John. I am doing a three phase project located just north of the GTA. I need some T-Bar additions and some repairs. I am looking for a competative quote since this will be either a repeat service to the other stalls and/or on call for future on going repairs. Please send me info about you and your company. I am not interested in other G.C's, I want to eliminate third parties and deal directly with the T-Bar installers.
