Hello,
I own a small house near downtown St. Catharines with a very large back yard. I love my location but need some extra space. I want to add an addition to the back of the house that can be used as a social area.
The size of the room I would like to add on would be roughly 12 feet wide (this is along the existing house and around 15 feet deep.
My house is older so I'm not looking for fancy. I just need a straight forward room.
We live in a approximate 1100 square foot bungalow. We would like to add 2 bedrooms and a bath. bedrooms being about 12 by 12 each and a bathroom around 8 by 8.we are wondering the cheapest way to do this and if its even possible.we have a garage attached to the added on living room. The living room is 18by15 in size and Im not sure the actual size of garage but its 1.5 garage.Would it be possible to convert these two spaces into the two bedrooms and bathroom? The bathroom isnt a must. Then convert current bedrooms(infront of house)into the living area.Could you give me an idea of how much this would cost.I don't have a huge budget,so Im just waying my options betweeen this or selling the house.Could you tell me what the estimated cost includes etc.
Need to enlarge house aproximatly 10 to 15 ft by 25 ft, Move kitchen to new addition, the other half of new addition will be a bedroom, take down wall for open concept between family room existing kitchen.
House was built in 1947. Should not have a problem getting most diggers into backyard. I am not looking for anything fancy, just solid, well built, and functional.
Approx 15 x 15 glass addition... not sure about foundation requirements for St. Catharines...
Glass roof with multiple sliding doors on at least two, perhaps all three sides... shed roof style approx 12 -15 feet high up to eaves, with very low slope as interior exit to sunroom is from the second floor (back split style house built in 1976)
Looking for a contractor to assist in the design and construction to convert our existing carport into a master bedroom. This project includes moving the main entrance of the house which currently resides in the carport to the front of the house and flipping the basement entrance which is also accessed via the current carport. The house is roughly 35 years old. No particular design in mind and we are really looking for someone to help us determine the best way to use the space.
I would like to convert front bedroom area into a living room. The house is probably around 6o years old.The current living room is added onto the back of the house, and I would like to tear down and convert into two nice size bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room is 16 by 19,but there is also more square footage available in the yard, off to the side of living room.Do you guys design as well.Im not sure how I want it to look,I just know that I would like two decent size bedrooms and bath at the back of the house, and I would like to have the new living room open concept off the kitchen. The bedroom that we would be removing are currently off of the kitche, they are something like 9X10 size and 13x9.There are two existing closets, one in the kitchen and one in the bigger bedroom that would have to be removed.Im just curious if you have a estimate for this type of project off your head?
