9 year old home with partially finished basement and roughed in Bathroom looking to have finished. We are in need of some layout assistance in order to determine how best to complete and use the space but we have a general scope of what we would like done. The space is approximately 800 SQ Feet.
Looking for a 3 peice bathroom and tiled floor. Would like glass tiled shower, toilet and vanity with storage and the bathroom would be about 100 SQ Feet.
Started with some water damage and if you know yor stuff you can just imagine the damage done, as this started three years ago! One side of the house needs to be repaired with all the proper membrane and tiling and then onto the finishing of the basement, studding and drywalling. Must see to believe how this even passed a home inspection.
We would like to finish our basement to use as a home daycare space. We need the stairs done, a 2 piece bathroom and one large open playroom space. Storage is extremely important for toys and supplies as well as pantry and food items. We were hoping to incorporate that into the furnace room. The space is approximately 600 ish square feet with 2 support poles, insulated with vapour barrier and plumbing rough ins. We would like a dropped ceiling with potlights and all laminate flooring. The house is 11 years old. Functionality and storage for daycare is most important to us.
Want to turn an unfinished basement with a bathroom rough in into a home daycare space. We would need to add an egress window, 2 pc bath and potentially a small kitchenette (not mandatory but would be ideal). The project would also include adding a closet, closing off a furncace room and making the space as open as possible.
The house is less than 2 years old. There have been no previous renovation; we'd just like to have the basement finished. We're looking to have a main family room, bathroom, bedroom and storage in this space. The main plumbing for a bathroom is already in place. The space is not complex - consists of basically two rectangular large rooms, right now. The only concern is that there are a couple of poles that may cause a problem, when looking to separate the rooms, create a hallway and put up drywall.
