Hi we are looking to have our basement done.
We need the main load barring beam exchanged for a smaller one that can support struts. Also a duct needs to be replaced so it can be more inset to the ceiling.
A sound barrier added if possible.
All permits need to be obtained as we loose our insurance without permits on the new beam.
No painting necessary.

Looking for someone to frame a portion of my basement. The dimensions are 28' by 21' in which 13' of one of the long walls has a staircase that I only to frame up to the side runner.
I will need 2 doors framed in and 1 window.
I would also like a separate quote to add drywall. I will supply all materials for the framing and drywall.
Can you provide me with an approximate cost please.
Would like to get a quote for renovating a basement with a size of about 650 sq. ft. There is already some framing and drywall done from previous owner, but would like to change the layout in the main area.
The new layout is relatively simple - storage room, furnace area, and a single large area that can be used for media/entertainment. There is also a water/moisture problem that I would like to get fixed at the same time.
Thanks for your interest.
It is an unfinished basement in an older home (50's) with a ceiling height at max of 6'5". The outer walls are concrete block and exposed ceiling. We would like info on raising the house for more height and an I Beam to go through the center to remove the two pillars of concrete block that are currently holding up the house. We have sealed the basement in 07 and have acquired some of the DriCore sub floor that we want. The floor now is withered concrete and is most definitely not level. We are looking to insulate the walls, add a ceiling with pot lights and possibly add an additional bathroom. There is currently a fruit cellar so to speak that we may choose to convert to a bathroom??
I have an unfinished basement and I'm looking to have it finished this coming fall.
