We are are need of some help in installing our new deck (in place of our old deck). The old deck has been completely removed and we are adding 2 new levels...(a lower level and a higher level) thus a 3 tier level deck The lower level will partially surround our hot tub while the higher level will wrap partially around our above ground oval pool so we can have a pool ladder come off the deck directly into the pool. We have purchased much of the wood (pressure treated, cedar, brackets, and screws, etc)....looking for a quote in putting the deck frame (beams and joists along with the ledger boards together so it is done properly!
Thanks!
Steve
Homeowner in Stoney Creek, Ont
I would need a separate estimate for the following 3 items. We have a deck but no railing to the Stairs and a bathroom with a bathtub/shower but no tiles on the wall so it's not being used for taking shower. We could arrange for appointments to inspect the job of needed anytime on Wedneadays or Fridays or after 6pm other days.
Please read the description/requirement well before contacting, thanks.
1) install railing to the existing stairs
2) replace stairs with a ramp & install railing
3) install tiles on the wall in 1 bathroom
I have purchased a townhouse in Stoney Creek with a deck that is sloping towards the house and has a few boards with dry rot. I am hoping it can be repaired so that I can get a few years of use out of it before replacing totally. I'm looking to have the work done as soon as the weather permits.
I haven't measured it yet, but I think it is no bigger than about 250 sq feet.

I am looking to build a 106 foot fence with one gate in a new community in Stoney Creek. Wood: 5 by 1.5 inches by 6 feet pressure treated. I would like to have it complete by the end of July 2010 or early August. I am also looking to build a deck with a gazebo depending on the price of the fence.
The previous owners of our house made a giant sandbox to put a blow up pool on. It is about 187 square feet (17x11 box) we are hoping to get it converted to a patio. We were going to do it ourself but are wondering what the cost would be to just have someone come in and do it right the first time.
We have a 24x20 cedar deck, that needs sanding and application of pennofin oil. It also has four box steps nine feet long and 2 that are 3 ft long. We also have a bbq and a hottub pergola. They both need sanding to remove fading benjamin moore arbourcoat stain and top coat to have penofin oil applied. They are also cedar. Reapplication of penofin to pressure treated fencing is also being considered but not essential. Fence is 45x83 feet. If we are in your area, wondering about time and cost and how soon you can start.
Thanks
We have terra cotta tiles that have lifted on our patio. I need to find a contrator that can replace them. I will provide the tiles. The patio is facing west and has sun in the afternoon. The area that needs repair is at least 3 feet by 10. The house is about 20 years old. There may be more tiles to be taken away.
Thank you for your time
5' window now in desired installation area. Exterior wall is double brick. Also need an existing electrical plug moved but biggest problem is a rad from the furnace running directly under the window. Have been told part of rad could be cut out to accomodate doors (?). We are looking for an estimate on the complete job. Thank you.
