I'm looking to build a fence but I'd like for someone to install 4x4 fence posts that I will be supplying. The services that I require from you is to dig holes for the fence posts of 10" in diameter and 4' deep, insert 6" of gravel (I will supply the gravel), insert the sonotube (I will supply the sonotubes), add the fence post (I will supply the fence post) and add the cement (you supply the cement). For now, 5 neighbours are looking to do fences, so we would need 50 posts installed. I will speak with the other 6 neighbours which means we may need 100 posts installed.
We just bought a house and need some things done in the next week. A fence put around our 18x36 pool, all the way around. We may buy the fence, or you can, but the estimates we received so far from pool fencing companies are unreasonable.
We also need our new dishwasher installed, there is not a spot in the counter for it. We also need our oven fan/microwave installed.
Finally, we also need stair backings on our stairs, they are open and we want to cover the backings for safety measures for our kids. Possibly using plexiglass or something.
Thanks
Paulo
I have 2 jobs I am potentially looking to have done, and I'd like each quoted seperately.
1) Privacy Fence across back of lot - we will have this job done for sure. It is an approx 60ft stretch where we would like a wood fence put up. There already exists a wood fence on each side of the backyard, but just a chain link fence across the back. the chain link fence is a city fence so we won't remove it, just put the wood fence up in front of it. We would like the style of the back fence to match the side fences, they are a shadow box style wood fence with lattice across the top. We'd like a flat board fence across the back with the same diagonal lattice. Would also like a gate in the wood fence to line up with the gate that is currently in the chain link fence.
Side fence along Garage - the current side fence ends approx 30ft from the side door entrance into the garage. We'd like to extend this fence up the side of our property so that the side garage door is inside the fence area. An additional gate would also be included in the side fence extention. Same style fence as the back yard.
A couple of sections of our fence got knocked down in the wind storm in Stoney Creek on Saturday night. I am awaiting the insurance company to do their thing. In the mean time I need some temporary fixing of the damaged fence.
'I expect that it is a couple of hours at most but needs to be done in the next couple of days.
It would be 60 fts across the back and up approximately another 40 ft on each side. On the side there may be grade issues because we live on a slope. Across the back it would be straightforward. We are looking for a wood fence and it would have to be low enough to the ground so our dog couldn't escape.
Between me and my neighbour, 46 foot long fence, 5 feet high plus 1 foot open lattice, 6 x 6 posts...option for a gate at the end of the 46 feet (one gate for each of me and my neighbour), pressure treated, 6 x 6 posts cut and capped, fence boards alternating to both sides with gap in beteen
During the windstorm May 4th, 3 sections of our wood fence fell down into the neighbors yards. The fence is approximately 13 years old. There are at least 6 of the 4x4 posts that need replacing, possibly 7. They are just rotting off at the base from age. The sections are still pretty much intact but have separated from the posts. See photos.
