Replacing light fitting in upstairs hallway with ceiling fan/light fitting. Have an existing 3 way switch that I want to use for lights on new fitting. Want to install additional switch (regular) to power fan in the new fitting. Will need to install new switch with existing 3 way switch and run additional cabling to fitting on 2nd floor ceiling.
Thanks,
Michael.
I am planning to hire a ESA certified contractor/company to re-place all the aluminum wires in my 2 storey about 2000 sq ft 3 level house to copper wiring, including replacing the 100A electric pannel. Any one interest in doing the job, please send me a brief summary of your approach and the estimated cost. Additonal info is given for estimation.
First level, hallway, living, dinning, family room, half washroon and a laundry
Second level, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedroom
Basement level, partially finished and is virtually accessible everywhere.
Thanks
I had a garage door opener installed yesterday that is not up to code because there was no nearby outlet in the ceiling--i don't know how the builder got away with that. A temporary solution was found by using an extension cord from the nearest wall plug. I need a quote to run a wire from the wall plug (or the basement) to proper area on the ceiling and install a 115V outlet.
Hi I'm looking to get some home automation done at my house. Researched and want to go with Lutron RA2. Here are the components I want installed. Can you provide me with quotes.

I just moved in to a new place and they had a custom kitchen built with a gas cook top. I am looking for a quote to safely disconnect the gas cook top and install an induction one. I am also not sure if my electricals support induction, I need advice on the requirements and if there is additional electrical work that has to be done.
Thank you.
