We live in a semi-detached house (90 years old) in Roncesvales area with our two children. We want to renovate our 6 x 8 family bathroom on the 2nd floor. It is half demolished (ceiling and walls exposed). We are looking at pushing back one wall to gain some space. We would also like to install a glass wall at one end on the tub (for light and sense of space) and a glass screen door for the new tub/shower. We want to move the existing vanity and replace it with a wall mounted floating one with an above the counter sink. We desperately need storage - wall mounted floating cabinet too, maybe use space between joist - again to give sense of space and get more space. We would also like to have a heated floor, proper ventilation (hole there already).... We are looking at a licensed, insured contractor who has several bathroom renovations experience. We would like work to begin in early fall. We can provide drawings if needed.
Have a fairly large crack in my condo unit bathroom tub, likely due to improper installation/ support. My understanding is that it would need to be replaced but would consider an alternative solution. Would like to replace the tub w/ minimal damage to the existing tile surround. Tub Dimensions : H=18.5", L=57.75", W=31.25". Access holes were also cut in the drywall on the opposite side of the shower control walls that need to be patched/ painted.
I am the property owner.
Our original contractor is no longer able to finish the job. the old bathroom has been demolished and debris removed off premises. framing is pretty much done (see attached pix).
The space is about 8"X7" with standard ceiling height. we would together pick up the tiles and materials. Looking for someone to quote on labor to complete this job including time frame. Floor plan is decided on but can be changed if need be.
You must be licensed and able to supply 3 work references
I would like to finish a basement bathroom for my teenage daughter. It is a small bathroom (about 8" by 6")and mostly plumbed in (drain is there) and framed. I would need installation of new fixtures (toilet, shower head, vanity etc) which I could provide as well as drywalling and tiling and finishing up of plumbing. As well, perhaps some electrical work if possible to get the exhaust fan going.
While I'm no expert, I think it's a job that could be completed about five days. THe worker who did our bedroom had quoted us 5,000 to do the bathroom so that is the sort of budget we're looking at. We are ready to proceed with the work as soon as a contractor is ready.
Thank you for your consideration.
The shower faucet is leaking. I need a quote for a cartridge replacement and complete shower replacement. The shower is in a one-piece bath tub. There is no access to the bath tub / shower from outside of the bathroom.
Please specify if you could remove the bath tub, replace the pipes and then put the bathtub back in place. How much would that add to your quote?
I'm looking to hire a contractor to renovate my guest bathroom. This would involve the following:

2. installation of standup shower replacement with tiling
3. installation of floor tiles and wall tile behind and above the vanity
4. installation of toilet replacement
5. installation of 1 plug outlet
6. painting
7.
The bathroom is approximately 85.5 inches by 81 inches with 10 foot high ceiling.
Its in a condo building.
Can start immediately.

Hi! My home is 5 yrs old, I have a shower in the corner of the master ensuite that is approx 4X5 ft (or 3X4) beside it there is a bathtub... the one glass side of the shower stops at the height of the tub, and then there is the door side, which does not go all the way up to the above glass, so no seal. anyway, I am wondering about the cost and labour involved in perhaps making this a STEAM SHOWER..I had one before, in my old home, and it was wonderful, this one seems like it is begging to be a steam showerm it lacks a bench and the steam lol! I was hoping to price this out and see if I can make it happen! Thank you
We live in a semi in Riverdale. The kitchen and bathroom were poorly renovated about 15 years ago. We would like them both renovated, and have some ideas, but would like the advice of a contractor. We have someone in mind to custom build the kitchen cabinets. In addition, we would like to get our flooring replaced throughout the house. There will be other renovations needed.
I'd like to upgrade my kitchen and master bathroom. For the kitchen I want to change the cabinets, counter top, tile, paint it in different color, change flouring (tile for tile), install some pot lights etc. For the bathroom, I want to change pretty much everything, including toilet, shower stall, vanity, basically redo the whole bathroom. I have a 1200 sq ft town house. So I have like an average size kitchen and bathroom. I'd like to find out what would be the price or at least approximate price let's say for a basic upgrade and like an average upgrade, but not too fancy.
I have a budget in mind and I need to understanding the prices for this type of work. This is my first renovations and my description might sound not very detailed. I hope I can get some help.
Thanks,
Andrew

My kitchen is 11' x 9' and dinning room is 9' x 8' , there is a corner wall between them. I want to eliminate the wall and make the rooms to a bigger room and redo the kitchen by putting new cabinets.
In my hallway there are tow small closet and behind them is the bathroom. I am planning to make the bathroom bigger by eliminating the closets.
I'm a complete novice, but I'd like to totally redo both the kitchen and bathroom in the house I just purchased. It's an older house located in downtown Toronto. Both kitchen and bathroom are approximately 12'X12'.
I'd like all new energy efficient appliances in the kitchen (stove, dishwasher and fridge) and I'd like to put in hardwood floor and antique white cabinets with a few glass doors. I'd also like a granite counter top. I'd also consider changing the configuration of the kitchen so that I can get what is known as the 'triangle' configuration for a more practical use of space.
In the bathroom, I'd like to get rid of the bidet and update all the tile work around the tub and shower. I'm interested in perhaps combining the shower with the bathtub to gain more space. I'd also be interested in new sinks and cabinets.
Thanks for the help!
Kitchen Plan :
Drawer's slide- Replace all the drawer's slide with soft closing mechanism. Currently the drawers are a bit wobbly.
Faucet - Replace the existing faucet with a new one (Matte black).
Backsplash on small area near the cooking stove. 35"*35" wall
Electrical work: Change Switch/plug wall panels with new one. Install lighting fixtures in the ceiling.
Fixing and Assembling : Assemble a new Sofa, 2 wall unit on the wall, two cabinet on the wall, fix a swing from the ceiling, Fix a wine rack on the wall.
I would like to replace my kitchen cabinets in my condo apartment. I have a granite countertop which, if possible, I would like to retain. The cabinets should be wood, no pressed or laminates, please. Would also like to replace the floor tiles in the kitchen.
Bathroom: I have one and half washrooms. I would like to replace the vanity and the toilet in both the washrooms.
Measurements: Main washroom - vanity - 36 inches width
Ensuite: vanity - 61 inches width. I propose to divide this to vanity + linen tower.
Look forward to receiving quotes.
Thanks,
Jasmine
Hello.
We would like to update our 10x9 ft kitchen (cabinets, sink, granite counter tops and possibly new floor tiles) and update 2 of our bathrooms with new floor tiles and vanity (and for 1 of the bathrooms, new wall tiles and glass shower). We plan on purchasing the materials ourselves and we are in a condo located in downtown Toronto.
Thanks !
