Need a brand new bathroom installed in the basement of an older house on MacPherson which is just north of Bloor off Yonge Street.
A washer and dryer are in the room currently which means there is water to the room but there is no drain.
We have a budget of between $4000 - $4500 and need the bathroom complete by Aug 15.
It doesn't have to be fancy, but we do need a shower, sink and toilet.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
On-site visits are welcome anytime day or night.

Hello,
We're moving into a newly purchased condo shortly which is in a need of an overhaul in the two bathrooms and the kitchen. It is dated but otherwise well managed with no known issues.
We're soliciting quotes as this is the first renovation project and we'd like to get an idea of the ballpark estimates. What we're hoping to do are as follows:
Main Bathroom:
The size of the bathroom is about 28 sqft with a 3x3 shower stall. We are aiming to take out the old vanity/toilet as well as the floor / shower booth tiles and put in new ones. We want to replace the shower door with an all glass door. Shower booth has a marble finish under the door which we can keep but otherwise the tiles need to be swapped out. We're aiming for a 24"x24" marble look porcelain tiles for the shower walls and a bit smaller tiles for the floor. There is a mirror spanning the entirety of one side of the wall (about 5' long) that we'd like to remove and put in a new one.
Additionally, curious how much it may cost to change the lighting to two scone types and a potlight in the shower.
Master Bedroom Bathroom:
Similarly, for this bathroom we're only aiming to replace the vanity/toilet and the shower tiles. Same sized tiles are expected. Exact same vanity and toilets are in this bathroom as the main one.
Kitchen:
We are redoing a lot of the kitchen by removing one wall and removing cabinets. We'll be putting in new IKEA cabinets in its place. Work required will be the removals, minor re-wiring for one outlet that's in the wall, removing the existing counter top, putting in a new one, and a new backsplash.
Other:
We're also redoing the flooring. There's approximately 650 sqft area for removing the laminate with engineered hardwood. The kitchen area and the entrance is combined around 150 sqft that we'd like to put in herringbone style tiles.
We're flexible with the material but more curious about the labour fee and estimated duration of the project. The condo is easy to access from the highway and renovations are often done.
If you require more information or photos, please don't hesitate to contact my email for further conversation. Also, please feel free to quote only part of the work (i.e. bathroom only)
Cheers,
Brian
This is a condominium building (cira 1970). The bathroom has never been renovated. The tiles started loosening and falling off. I did not get the tiling repaired as I was contemplating doing a complete renovation of the bathroom. However, because of the missing tiles, there was wall damage (which started leaking into the unit below mine). In light of this, I would like to start on the bathroom renovation now (new floor, tiles throughout the room, maybe a glassed-in shower stall rather than a bathtub and shower curtains, new built-in vanity.
Need to renovate the bathroom. Start date this week. Maximum duration of the project is 2 weeks. Cost is a major issue.
Scope:
Replace 3 walls (insulation and drywall only) - total area for replacement = 131.35 sq. ft.
Remove tiles from the floor (total area = 30.73 sq. ft.)
Install tiles on the bathtub walls and floor (total area = approximately 69 sq. ft.)
Move bathroom pieces (toilet by a foot, bathtub by a foot - minor plumbing required).
Update electrical (move the electrical GFI outlet to a different wall, need new light fixtures)
Might also need to move A/C vent by a foot.
All materials will be provided.
Please quote according to these categories, labour only.
8 year old converted loft bathroom needs a renovation... new shower with glass walls and rainhead... new sink and vanity... removal of drywall to expose a wall of brick (the drywall has been put up recently to hide and I want to reveal)... perhaps a shift in the exterior bathroom wall.
I've attached pictures of the space as well as an image of what I would like the final bath to look like...
Hello
I'm owner of condo in downtown Toronto. Building is approx 38 years old. According to building rules, work must be done Mon-Fri between 8am-5pm by licensed contractor.
Size of bathroom: 91"x 60"
Requesting the following work:
-remove: toilet, vanity, bathtub (think it's a steel tub), tile surrounding the tub, floor tile
-install: new acrylic tub, plumbing (if needed to fit new tub) new shower head, new faucet handles and diverter.
-dispose of materials offsite
We have the tub, toilet and faucet etc purchased. We have someone to install the tile, toilet and vanity. Just looking for someone to do the rest listed above. Please advise estimated cost and earliest availability.
Thank you
To finish off the reno of our bathroom we need to do the following:
1) Replace bath tub (preferrably placing a new one over the old one, as the new one we want is deeper) and dealing with the plumbing required with that.
2) Replacing the tiling in the tub area.
3) Replacing a regular window with glass blocks (that don't open).
4) Adding a vent.
I'm looking for an estimate, knowing that there might be surprises behind the walls.

I need to change the tiles in the bathroom, size of floor is 66" ? 59". Also, need to demolish existing vanity and install new custom vanity 30" with quartz counter top. Would be nice if the contractor has the contacts with good cabinets maker.
The property is a townhouse. I am the owner of the property. The bathroom is located on the 4th floor of the townhouse if count from the garage level.

Thank you for your responses!
We need a licensed plumber right away for our semi-detached Toronto house 80 yrs old, 2 levels, near Keele and Bloor. We are 'moving' the bathroom and kitchen plumbing to different areas.
New 3-piece bathroom installation on second floor, and kitchen sink and dishwasher rough-ins for main level. Drywall has not yet been installed in walls or ceiling.
.
We have been quoted:
$4000 for re-install of new stack (cast iron) with excavation from the ground in basement through 2 floors up to roof
$1000 for bathtub installation
$600 for pressure balance tub an dshower faucet
$500 for new toilet install
Extra for new copper water lines ($164/6ft) and 1.5" ABS drain lines ($178/5ft)
Can anyone provide us with a better price? We have three mouths to feed!
In the above link you will find a floor plan. What we want to achieve is a powder room. Could we install the toilet in place of the existing shower, on the same stack as the existing toilet? Separate the two toilets with a wall and put a sink in the powder room (with a new door to the hall). Remove the existing Jacuzzi and move the wall of the existing bathroom to accommodate a bathtub/shower. The result would be a four piece bathroom and a seperate powder room side by side both accessed through doorways to the hall, keeping just the sink in the master bedroom. I would like to emphasize that there is only the one stack for the toilet. We are interested in feasibility, time and cost, using standard quality materials.
We are looking to renovate our apartment three-piece bathroom.
Jobs:
1. Replace the bathtub and toilet
2. Replace vanity including new counter top and install non-fog wall to wall mirror
3. re-tile from dated small square tiles to larger 1 foot tiles (approax).
4. IMPORTANT - increase ventilation in bathroom
Budget for this project is $3,000. If you could please provide a timeline as to estimated cost and completion date when responding to post, it would be greatly appreciated.
