I'd like to have my staircase carpeted and would appreciate a quote on this job. There are 20 treads, 2 landings (4'x4') and another half landing. The staircase has closed risers and is open on one side.
I'd appreciate quotes with a range for types of carpet (Berber, Saxony, etc)
Commercial Office Property
Description: Request quotation for carpet install (material plus install) for the common stairwells and hallways in one of our office properties which is currently under renovation.
Total SF: Approximately 828 SF (stairwells and landings)
Time Frame: ASAP
Note: Future opportunities available at our other properties if we are happy with the service provided.
We live in a city split-level condo townhouse where you walk in the front door and immediately walk up 13 stairs to get into our home. The stairs were previously covered in Burlap tan carpet and after eleven years of stains, wear and tear, we removed the carpet completely. Our original plan was to pain the tread and risers, but they are not completely smooth and only plywood not hardwood or veneer.
We are looking to cover the stairs with either:
a) hardwood stair tread cover,
b)veneer stair tread cover
c) carpet tread mats.
Our floors are walnut hardwood, so we'd stain the stair treads if we do not go with carpet tread mats.
Our stairs are 32.5" length x , which has been impossible to find. We do not own the tools to cut treads ourselves, and would prefer to have the job completed by a professional.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

We would like someone to lay some laminate floors boards (the fake hardwood ones from home depot) in our basement which is about 6 meters long x 5 meters wide. We also need our stairs carpeted as well (we will buy the carpet from home depot). The stairs are 3 feet wide and there are 11 steps. They go down into the basement in a straight line (standard stairs).
Thank you very much.
I have a set of stairs which leads to a small landing then has a set of 4 steps coming off either direction. I have removed the old carpet, nails and staples but do not know how to lay the new carpet I have bought and would prefer a professional do it. I would like to leave the landing uncarpeted. i would also like to have a simple bannister installed. there is already a free standing post but it needs a railing attached. I would prefer something white. thanks

I am interested in having vinyl tiles laid in my home - the space is about 150 sq ft. Can you give me an idea of how much labour would be. Also, I haven't been in you store as yet, but I was in Home Depot and they had a vinyl tile that actually looks like ceramic and could be installed with or without grout. Do you carry this type of product as well? Please let me know
