I live in an 1895 row house in downtown Toronto. One of the bedrooms in the house does not have a closet and I would like to have a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling closet built in that room that would have a traditional look, in keeping with the style of an older home - total size would be approximately 9' x 9'.
To accommodate the (small) size of the room and the fact that there needs to be enough room for the door to open inwards, the closet would have to be in 3 sections - two side sections with a depth of a foot-and-a-half or so, that would be fitted with pullout drawers and shelving, and one middle section with full depth and height, for a hangbar.
I have attached a picture of what I envision in way of structure - traditional looking doors would need to be attached to that to close it up.
I am looking at getting an in-home consultation from a reputable company that has considerable experience in building closets and would like to arrange for such a consultation within the next week or so. References will be asked.
We have two closets we would like to enlarge and customize in order to get a better build-in closet in each room.
We also would like to replace the double doors with sliding doors.
The first closet, is 245 cm tall and 250 cm large. The second one is 200 cm tall and 260 cm large. They are both located on the first floor, in a house (100 year old semi detached house). The floor upstairs is covered with carpet in both room.
We would like to enlarge the closet and organize the inside as well in order to improve the space.
I'm interested in having a built in with deco doors put in my master bedroom. My closet space is approximately 140 inches. I would like each end to have a double hang area as well as some drawers and a full length hanging area. I've attached a picture to give an example of the sort of thing I am looking for. I have contacted various closet design companies to get estimates and the prices they came back with were far too high for what I wanted to spend. Average price after going back and forth to negotiate was between $3500 and $4000. If there is someone who can do this work for less then please feel free to contact me.
I'm looking to make the closet in my condo bedroom bigger by about 3 feet.
The space beside the existing closet is already empty, so it is just a matter of extending the one side.
I would like to know the options for doors as well (sliding or regular hinged doors).
Please note, i have already gotten approval from my condo board to complete these renovations.

We are looking for a contractor who can help us intsall new solid masonite doors in the upstairs of our home (there are five of them) and fix/replace the door frames where necessary - some are crooked and none of them are in very good shape.
The second part of this project involves expanding the closet in our master bedroom by stealing some space from an adjacent linen closet and opening up the closet opening, installing new doors, etc.
