I have a 14 foot conrete curb at the end of my driveway. It is currently 5" high and too high for my sportscar. I would like someone willing to take on the job ideally of cutting it down or removing it. The driveway leads onto a city lane and most of my neighbours simply do not have curbs. However, I could not tell for removal purposes how deep it is.
Please let me know if you are interested in the job and could provide a rough estimate, subject to a final look at it.
thanks aileen
Next to a balcony there is a concrete roof of an old oil tank room that needs to be
cut and the whole area also all the way to the sidewalk resurfaced with new concrete In addition the old concrete stairs to the balcony need to be replaced.
It is difficult to provide more info than the above. An estimate is required and work can start immediately. The house is in downtown Toronto close to Christie and Bloor.
Please call me to inspect the site and provide your estimate.

I am looking for quotes on pouring concrete for a 17' by 7' section of driveway. There is some existing concrete there that has broken apart and will need to be removed (some has already been removed).
Please let me know if interested and what the approximate price would be.
Thanks.
I am looking for an experienced concrete contractor to set up forms, a rebar base, and pour concrete for a concrete driveway. The concrete driveway will consist of 9 concrete strips, with each strip of approximately 30" x 132" x 5" in dimensions. Each strip will be separated by a 6" gap filled with crusher run and a pea gravel finish. The base for the concrete will be pre-prepared by a landscaper with tamped crusher run.
I need two concrete stairs to continue where the original staircase is, in addition I want to continue down the grassy slope to the backyard gate.

To the left of the stairs I want a one foot tall retaining wall, on the right of the stairs I want a 8 inch retaining wall that. I want all to be stamped then etched and stained/tinted to look like stonework.

I have two two projects that need foundation to be built for us.
Both of them will need to be started in early October
We do not need general contractors to take care of the whole process. However, if you can do foundation and framing together, and the price is good, we will be glad to have you finish these two parts for us.
Thanks,
James
I would like a quote to do some minor excavating of a rear yard parking pad that is currently gravel/dirt. It is 16x16. The excavating is not that much. It would be mostly to level it. The new concrete pad will eventually have a garage built on it and will be 14x22. It will need to be formed and poured. Depth of 6 to 8 inches of concrete. This is at the rear of the house. There is laneway access. There is no foundation at the moment.
Project is located in east york and renovator is looking for a concrete trade to come in and remove existing 11 x 16 concrete pad and install new gravel and concrete which is thickened at the edges. The roof has been kept on and shored and the walls removed, so we can tarp and keep the construction dry for a saturday may 11 or monday may 12 job. Please advise of your company's expertise and availability and for future concrete work. Need to have good quality people to do the job.
This is a job for a concrete parking pad of approximately 19x22. I recently posted a bid for a garage job, we are now scaling back and doing the pad only for right now. There is potential that garage will be added later. This is on a laneway. I am currently parking a car in the area on dirt/gravel. A garage/carport may be added at a later date. I would like to have people come by on Friday, November 16th to look at the site and supply accurate bids.
I am a general contractor. I usually do small concrete jobs myself, but I hire out when our jobs involve large concrete pads, or pads with aggregate materials or stamped concrete.
That why I'm posting now. I'm looking for someone who can work with us on concrete jobs that are a bit more than we can handle.
All the best,
Jeff
Skills needed - Masonry, concrete
Homeowner.
Repairs to front porch - house is built into a hill so porch is on the 2nd level. Stairs and railings have been removed already, porch can be accessed through the house or by ladder. Porch needs to be repaired to prepare for new wood stairs.
Work needed - front face of porch has a large crack opening up that was about an inch wide. It is filled in with silicone for now, but we would like it to be repaired and resurfaced to cover the rust stains from the old railings. There is also a section where the stairs used to attach that needs to be repaired. See pictures.
Top of porch - stubs from former railings need to be removed, and their holes filed in.
Porch is approximately 16 feet by 8 feet.
Spalled bricks - Underneath the crack in the porch, about 20 bricks are spalled. There is a one-brick wide area with rebar from the old stairs, rebar needs to be removed or cut back far enough to allow new stairs to be installed.
My front concrete porch was previously finished with clay tiles. The tiles at the front edge were installed incorrectly, allowing water to get between the front vertical tiles and the concrete. This caused the front tiles to fall off, taking some concrete with them.
I would like to have all of the clay tiles removed, have the eroded concrete repaired and the walking area resurfaces.
Hello all,
I had a pad poured for a garage and the elevation is approx. 6"-8" above grade. The width of the entrance (the garage door) is 10' wide. I would need concrete to be poured down to grade to allow me to get in. There is gravel there now, no need for more but may need to be graded a bit to allow for concrete. Please let me know an approx. cost, you can drive down to see the site at any time just let me know an approx. price so I dont waste you time if it doesn't fall into my budget.
Thank a lot!
John
Approximately 30 ft x 6 ft concrete walkway needing repair as there is a metal fire escape built above it and one of the 3 posts is now loose. Also need minor repair of water damaged drywall requiring sanding down and repainting. Approx 9 ft x 2 ft area. And ceiling approx 3 ft x 4 ft. Budget $1500-2500
I have a retaining wall that is mine by city rules (municipal right of way), but do not really have a chance to enjoy the property it protects. The entire wall is 50-70 feet long (never measured it) and is leaning in certain areas.
As this is something that I have to repair within the next little while, I am looking for the most cost effecting solution. The current blocks are rather large concrete slabs and can potentially be re-used.
My timing is flexible, as the price will dictate when I will be doing this.
Looking to learn more about the semantics behind this project and the associated costs.
I own a condo that I live in and I am renovating the bathroom. I need someone to pour a 32"x60" concrete shower base and hook up the plumbing for my standing shower. The drain needs to be within 8" of the right edge.
I am looking for an idea of what it would cost to do this and someone to do the job.
Contractor is needed to pour a 4" concrete slab in Toronto. Approximately 900 square ft (30x30). Saw cuts would be required. 25 MPa concrete with 6% air. Smooth finish or broom finish. Surface area is ready to set forms and pour concrete. Line pump would be required. Must be completed by August 9th.
Hi, I have a concrete slab in front of my house (see picture attached) which is 36" Width X 55.5 " Long X 4 " Depth. At this moment the concrete is about 1.5 " below the other concrete slabs (again, see picture).
I want someone who can come with the necessary tools/equipment, lift it up, fill it up with gravel/concrete and level it with the other ones, so water does not puddle in there every time it rains. I want someone who knows what they are doing and give me an all inclusive fair price before starting the project. This project should not take more than 2 hrs for a Handyman (to bring all tools, gravel, etc), I would do it my self but I can not lift the concrete slab my myself.
Thanks,
Carlos.
