I need to replace 60 ft. of drywall due to mold in my basement unit. I have contractors installing a sub-floor drainage system into a sump pump. They will be ripping everything out, but I need to re-do the studs, insulation, drywall, taping, sanding and primer.
Can you please give me a quote for 60ft?
Thanks
Property:
Small 77yr old Semi-Detached - square footage: approx 19ft x 30ft
Location & issue to be addressed:
Attic - Shared wall in attic is old lath & plaster - in rough shape - holes, lath-only over majority of wall with openings/gaps into neighbors attic - wildlife (i.e. squirrels) are gaining access to my attic from neighbors attic via these entry points. . My side of property has been completely "wildelife" proofed from the outside to prevent entry.
Goal & Objective of project: :
- Repair & remediate the shared attic wall or build wall as an alternate solution to fix cavities & openings and to prevent wildlife from entering from neighbors attic.
- Close other remaining entry points in attic to prevent wildlife from entering.
-Install studs for the electrician provided by the owner to install electrical boxes
-Install drywall for new washroom (plumbing by owner) Install 1 existing door and supply new frame - hange door.
-Install drywall on slant for the bottom of the stairs.
-Install drywall ceiling though out basement and coordiante with electrician for
- All partitions are to be insulated and ensure walls are not leaking prior to install - paint on the brick is bubbling
- 20 potlights will be installed in the drywall ceiling by the electrician
- probably 2 trips
- Finish drywall for paint application by others
- Install millwork counter provided by the owner (approx 15 ft long) Requires a base - it's to go over top of the washer and dryer.
- install partitions for new washroom under the stairs.
-Demolition of wall in living room approximately 14-20' ft wide - currently it is not showing signs of being structural. Patch and repair under 2,d stair as required and finsh off the drywall from the demo to create an open concept space.
Basement is approximately 14 x 30 or around 1500 sq.ft. Three walls will be reuired to be drwalled and t 1 wall to remain exposed brick.
- Sealling at ceiling between neighbors demising wall and owners basement to be included (in the plenumn space)
Hello,
I would like to inquire about drywalling my basement. It's a 400sqr feet basement. I only need it to be drywalled, plastered and painted. There is already new insulation installed and no need for plugs, 4 corner room, no need to do the ceiling either, no mouldings, no baseboards. What will be an approximate cost with labour and materials as well as time frame?
Thank you.
Ilya
Approximately 500 sq ft (measures ~17'x22' + a pocket or two) basement rec room needs drywalled and taped. I want it ready to paint and need it done quick!
It is currently framed with wood 2x4, and ceiling height is approx 7ft. There are 3 door ways and a bulkhead ~5ft wide by about 22ft long.
If price is right and work is good, painting is also available to be done - but drywall is the priority right now.
Thanks!
We are redoing a basement for our single family detached house. The basement is about 400 square feet. It will need new framing since the existing framing size is using a quarter size frames - typical of houses built in 1950s...
We will have all the raw material ready for use. We plan to build the basement ourselves and need someone to help us with overseeing the project, install the ceiling and do the finishing (tapping etc)...
The project consists of constructing 3 walls to create two storage areas within an unfinished basement of a commercial building. The Parkdale Community Health Center is 9 years old and the basement is completely unfinished ie. concrete floor and cieling with exposed HVAC and plumbing. While this is a small project it is the beginning of a full renovation/completion of the Center's basement area that will serve as a trail for future construction. Specification and photos are attatched
I have a 9 ft by 3 ft bathroom that needs to have drywall on 3 walls (not in the tub/shower area). The area to be drywalled goes from the floor up about 40 inches..it used to have tile and plaster.....it has all been removed and is ready to be drywalled. I want these walls to be paint ready asap. IMPORTANT: You can only work on this project between 4 pm and 8 pm weekdays...and on Saturdays from 8 am to 3 pm.
Needing a skimcoat and or mudding and taping for poorly laid drywall with very large seams in an insuite bathroom. (1/4 to 1/2 inch in places, smaller in most areas)
Hopefully a fairly quick in and out. It's just an ensuite but would be a nice way for someone with
a smaller business to grab a few quick dollars and help me greatly in the process.
Looking for quotes. Area would probably be 9' x 4'.
Thanks
Purchased a 5 year old town house and we are renovating the downstairs powder room. The previous owners had installed really bad tiles halfway up the wall. My dad and I ripped out the tiles and the drywall (saving the top part of the drywall) We installed new drywall however the fit between old and new walls are not lined up properly since old walls were not installed straight. We tried to cement and sand down but after painting it looks horribe. We need completely new drywalls put up and old ripped out. It is approx 25sq ft bathroom with approx 9ft ceiling. We have just installed new floor tiles so they need to be covered and ensured they do not get damaged. We would need a light fixture installed and trim around floor and door frame installed. The drywall would need to be ready to paint but we will prime and paint. We have only have a toilet and small sink (not a vanity).
We are doing a small renovation to our house. This includes three bathrooms and a basement gym area. I will need help framing, creating a curbless shower, installing a pocket door, some trim work, boarding and taping new walls and possibly getting existing walls ready for tile. Looking for all work to be completed this July.
Some ducts have been replaced in my unit along with a new air conditioner. There is a gap surround the air conditioner unit (which is on the ceiling) as well as some holes that need to be repaired and drywalled. I would also like to take advantage of the open ceiling to have some sound insulation installed in the accessible area.
Along one wall of our main bedroom we have two old closets that just aren`t big enough to be useful. It is an old Toronto semi-detached home to give you an idea.
We are looking to open the closets up to the entire room, so removing all the drywall that make up the closet walls. Honestly, it isn't a big job but wanted to make sure it's done right since some of the wall was original. Also possibly add in hardwood flooring in the area that the drywall was removed from (honestly only a few square feet since its just where the closet walls were).
Looking to get this done soon as we want to move our bed over to that wall.
Located downtown and happy to show it to anyone interested in the work and this could be the first of other projects we are looking at so really looking forward to finding someone we can work with more in the future also.
Thanks!
Ricky

What I require is to extend two of each of the bedroom walls (drywall) from their current height of 8' up to the 12' high ceilings.
There is also a single ceiling piece of 2'1" x 9' at the entrance (drywall), and a wall single piece 1'4" x 7' above one of the bedroom closets.
I require this project to be completed before Aug.31, 2013 (within the next 3 weeks).
If you could please email me a quote for this project I would really appreciate it.
Thank you very much,

Hello,
I own a condo unit and the walls between my two bedrooms are not thick enough and there is a heat pump in between the walls that creates a mild vibration. I want to install a layer of type x drywall on both sides plus with green glue in between the drywall sheets (I will provide the green glue). The total area is about 9 feet tall by 20 feet wide in total if you want to know how much drywall is needed.
There is a small popcorn area in my condo that I would like to scrape it off and install some molding. The dimensions are 4 feet by 4.4.
Please provide me with an estimate regarding the costs(for example cost per sq of drywall installation).Hope to hear soon from you.
Too long to explain what happened, but I need someone to come in and finish my reno:
- install and paint pre-cut trim
- sand (mud on a few bits of wall) and paint a few walls
- drywall patching and finishing
- scrape and clean wood floors - drywaller didn’t use drop sheets so mud/putty and paint drops caked on hardwood for weeks
