Need to put up three ceiling light fixtures, in a small under 400 square feet condominium, 8 foot ceiling..
Already bought the fixtures -description below:
VIBRANCE -Recessed Lighting (GLOBE - 90056 SA)
5" recessed lighting kit -white finish
Compatible with one CFL Bulb ( already purchased).
You have to bring all the tools /lader etc to install the same.
We currently have 5 electrical panels in our home and are looking to consolidate them down to one. I'm told the job is not complicated, for an experienced electrician. The panels we have are as follows:
1) Dryer
2) Hot Water
3) Air Conditioner
4) Main Switch
5) A New Panel that seems to carry all other power
It may be possible to use the newer panel for everything, but I am unsure about all that is involved in the process. If pictures would be helpful then please let me know.
The work space is free from obstruction with a ceiling that is about 7.5-8 feet high.
Please let me know how much a job like this would cost, and give me a timeline for completing the task.
Kind Regards,
Clint
I need to have overhead light fixtures installed in 2 rooms of my condo. I have purchased both light fixtures. It appears that both rooms have been prepared for overhead light fixtures as there is a small white metal cap on the ceiling.
One of the rooms has dimmers connected to the sockets and if possible, I would like the dimmers re-routed and connected to the overhead light fixture instead.
I'd like to have the lights installed by March 16th.
Thanks.

Hello: We are looking for an electrician who can do a number of small jobs in our condo soon. Our condo was built 15 years ago. We need a hall light switch separated out from other lights the current switch controls. We need a potlight in the bathroom fixed (many people have tried to help with this one, but it is definitely a job for an electrician). We need an outlet for the microwave in the kitchen with a separate breaker and also need the fan reinstalled (we believe it was put in backwards!). We need a ceiling light installed in a bedroom and a light moved in the dining room ceiling. We would also like another outlet in the kitchen. So, a number of tasks, one or two days work. Estimates would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have a triplex with 4 meters and 4 fuse panels (1 for each apartment and 1 for the common house area). In addition there are 4 other smaller fuse boxes/switches for the dryer and 3 flat rate water heaters. All the meters and fuse panels are located together centrally. The house is on 100 amp service.
Here's what I need done:
1. Replace all the fuse boxes to breaker panels.
2. Move the dryer box to the house panel.
3. Move the flat rate water heaters to the metered apartment panels.
4. Upgrade the house to 200 amp service.
I would like to keep the meters inside the house as moving them outside would constrict the narrow driveway.
Looking for a qualified electrician to replace a light/dimmer switch and install a pendant light fixture.
Currently, the dimmer switch is not working (we believe the switch blew with removing the old fixture), thus the light will not turn on and off.

We are looking for an electrician for an ESA Inspection Defect notice which needs to be corrected.
The property is located in Toronto.
We are a property management company with over 400 properties so we are also looking for a Electrician/Electrician company to service the area of Toronto.
We want quotes of how much this will cost, and I will attach the ESA Defect Notice to give a ball park.
Please contact me if you are able to make the date above.
Thanks,

The external electrical wire that connects our house to the electricity grid came down in the ice storm (see attached pictures). Toronto Hydro has put the wire back up by attaching it with rope to a nearby tree, but they say that we need an electrician to fix the mast. I also notice that the siding on our house was slightly damaged when the wire went down (you can see this in one of the attached pictures). Notably, the power never went off.
I am looking for someone to repair the mast and do anything else that may be needed to get our external electrical connection back in order. If you are also able to fix the siding (I assume that it can be fixed fairly easily) this would be preferable.
Notably, the wire needs to run past a tree that is owned by the City. Does this make things more complicated? I have heard that there must be a one metre clearance between the wire and the tree. If true, the tree may need to be trimmed. I am not sure who does this being that the tree is owned by the city.
