Can you please let me know your experience and a rough estimate for this job.
Thanks,

We have the material which is 7mm, foam backed, click lock laminate.
Thanks.
Hi,
I have approximately 650 square feet of Mercier Ash solid flooring, it was installed a few years ago, and it still looks great. I have a dog moving into the house, and I would like to get a quote for applying a protective coat to the floor. Since the floor still has the factory finish, one option that I've heard is using Bona prep to help adhesion, along with Bona Mega or Traffic. I am interested in getting a quote please.

Hello,
So we are looking at the following to do in our new home. We are hoping to replace tiles with hardwood through out the house.
The front area has tiles and the space is around 62 square feet.
The kitchen also has tiles and the area is a space of 272 square feet.
The existing floors are pretty good and it is of oak wood.
Next we are looking at changing the colour of the floors (1st floor and 2nd floor) along with the colours of the staircase (there are two sets of stairs) - and perhaps maybe making the stairs more modern looking (depends on the cost). The reason of changing the colour is to make the floors all look the same.
If you could provide a quote on what would be the cost - that would be great and thanks for your time.
We have 1092 sq ft of (purchased) stranded bamboo flooring to be laid. Renovation project - no furniture on site, all on one level of house.
We have purchased glue for a full spread glue down method on plywood sub floor.
Please quote with a cost break down of:
1) sub floor prep including remove and dispose of existing floor, screwing down existing sub floor to floor joist, leveling
2) under cut door frames/jams to accommodate flooring installation
3) Install 3 inch ft of pre-finished nosing
4) Install of quarter round on existing baseboards
We asked for a cost breakdown because we may opt to do the sub floor prep ourselves.
Additionally, for a separate quote - on another floor we have another 850 sq ft of wood flooring to sand, stain and finish (applying one coat filler, one coat stain, 3 coats straight satin polyurethane), and installation of quarter round on existing baseboards.
Thank you.
My existing bamboo flooring needs to be removed, as well as the tile in the foyer and kitchen. Replace with new flooring throughout.
The apartment is 735 sq feet. One bedroom plus a den area. There is a large walk in closet in the bedroom and closet with glass doors in the den. The apartment will have furniture in it which will need to be moved around while the work is taking place. I might be able to move some of the smaller items out.
I am the owner and resident of the unit. The flooring has already been purchased so it would just have to be installed accord to the specifications of the condo board.
We are looking for someone who can level off a basement floor.
We're thinking a new slab of concrete would have to be poured over the existing slab in order to level it off.
Its about 600 square feet.
There is currently laminate flooring over it, which would have to be removed and then reinstalled once the floor is leveled off.
We are looking to get estimates and pricing.
Thanks.
Small job. Flooring Installation in basement. Entry way area and one room. Room is approx. 10 X 10 and the entryway is 4 x 6. Would like to use a sturdy vinyl or laminate. Need to install over an existing tile floor. Baseboard install. Electric baseboard heater install. Change kitchen sink faucet. Need done ASAP.
1) I have a small bathroom that needs to be gutted and remodeled (remove everything).
2) Midsized bedroom - Hardwood floor to be installed, currently has carpet.
Would like to use one contractor for both jobs. Please be prepared to provide references.
MUST HAVE A METRO LICENCE.
Dear Perspective Contractors,
We are interested in either replacing our Brazilian Cherry Engineered Jatoba Flooring with the same type of flooring, or repairing those planks and tea trees with new ones. We have noticed that our flooring has some dents, checkings and some wear and tears, although we have humidiiers in our unit, but our flooring tends to be quite delicate. We are looking for a long-term solution. Therefore, we are hoping that we would be able to replace those damaged planks, etc. Also, please note that our floor is floating and if we replace/repair this flooring, it has to be through a clicking method, not gluing or nailing, as our Board does not allow it. If you offer the services and the type of flooring that we are looking for, and, if you offer high-end flooring, please contact us.
Thank you,
Dzovig/Fred

I have ordered laminate flooring for one of my condo units.
I am hoping to start laying on February 24th (2 weeks from now) and it shouldn't take long as it is only 400-450sf that require new flooring. It is a brand new unit, about 10 months old, so probably don't require new underpads and baseboards.
Would you kindly provide the quote for laying laminates for 450sf, and to remove existing engineered flooring, please?
If things go smoothly, I have a triplex that I may work on as well.
Look forward to hearing back soon.
Hello!
I would like to get a quote on how much and how long is it going to take to renovate a 2 bed room plus den condo on Yonge and Sheppard.
I am looking to remove old carpet and replace it with either hardwood or laminate, depending on the price.
Also I would love it to be painted. Please note that the living room has chair railing, will probably use 2 different colors.
This is about 900 square feet condo with 2 bedrooms and den.
Looking forward hearing from you!
Kind regards,
Sasha
Need a series of renovations done in my 530 sq ft 1 bed 1 bath condo. I am the new owner as of March 15. Please see the attached for full details of renovations. Need things like new quartz countertop in kitchen, new engineered hardwood flooring, new tiles in kitchen and bathroom, new fixtures, etc.
Can you give me estimates on the cost as well?
To remove old carpet and flooring through out the condo and replace with an appropriate material (thick under pad and vinyl or engineered hardwood tbd). Painting all appropriate walls.
Kitchen reno will be separate quote. Will include enlarging the pass through, updating the cabinets and adding new ones where necessary.
The condo is approximately 1200 sq ft.
My family is moving in and the tenants left the place in rough shape
a 3 bedroom detached house full interior paint (remove popcorn ceilings and walls, repair patches and smooth any rough bits, trim and doors)
Basement needs full carpeting
Removal of laminate flooring throughout house (ceramic in the front hall) id like to refinish the parque floors but depends on condition once removed
Remove wainscoting from entryway and kitchen
I have pictures of the house just having difficulty uploading them as the files are too large.
I am looking for a contractor with experience installing engineered hardwood floors and with painting. The project includes removal of the existing floors (carpet in bedroom, engineered hardwood in living room, dining room, and office/den).
My condo is 700 sq. ft., approximately 600 sq. ft. of which will receive the new engineered hardwood floors. The existing tile in the kitchen and bathroom will remain. The engineered hardwood will need to be laid seamlessly throughout, and the quarter round will need to be removed and replaced.
The engineered hardwood and quarter round will be purchased by me in advance.
The painting to follow will be the walls of the entire condo (700 sq. ft.) in one colour, and repainting the baseboards and quarter round trim (in white) after installation of the floors.
The paint will be purchased by me in advance.
My condo is located in the High Park area of Toronto.
We live in a city split-level condo townhouse where you walk in the front door and immediately walk up 13 stairs to get into our home. The stairs were previously covered in Burlap tan carpet and after eleven years of stains, wear and tear, we removed the carpet completely. Our original plan was to pain the tread and risers, but they are not completely smooth and only plywood not hardwood or veneer.
We are looking to cover the stairs with either:
a) hardwood stair tread cover,
or
b)veneer stair tread cover
or
c) carpet tread mats.
Our floors are walnut hardwood, so we'd stain the stair treads if we do not go with carpet tread mats.
Our stairs are 32.5" length x , which has been impossible to find. We do not own the tools to cut treads ourselves, and would prefer to have the job completed by a professional.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
