Hello,
I am looking for a crew to work on my condo starting mid-week June 5th. I am looking for the following (condo=730sqft):
1. Ceramic tile removal (730sqft)
2. Laminate floor install (w/ sound underlay) - 700 sqft
3. Tile install - bathroom (30 sqft) - w/ sound underlay and heat mat installation
4. Replace bathtub
5. Bathtub tile surround removal and replacement (bathtub = 5.5ft long)
6. Removal of sliding doors that separate bedroom from living, and replace with new closet (dimensions = 5 ft X approx 21 inches, height = 94.5 inches)
7. Installation of over the stove microwave (will include cutting two upper cabinets to fit the microwave, and finding electrical) *note: if this cannot be done without ruining kitchen back splash, then I will not do this
8. Installation of baseboards
9. Popcorn ceiling removal, replaster and paint (it is painted, and above is a concrete ceiling)
Is your crew available mid week June 5th? If so, what of the above can you complete and what are your rates for each item?
Lastly, what would your timeline be?
Please note: I do not have access to the unit until June 1st (when the condo closes), and I am looking to get a quick start on June 2 or 5 so that I can move in as soon as possible. I am looking for a preliminary quote on the above, with the understanding that a firm quote can be provided upon seeing the unit on June 1 (afternoon/evening) or June 2.

Need a series of renovations done in my 530 sq ft 1 bed 1 bath condo. I am the new owner as of March 15. Please see the attached for full details of renovations. Need things like new quartz countertop in kitchen, new engineered hardwood flooring, new tiles in kitchen and bathroom, new fixtures, etc.
Can you give me estimates on the cost as well?
My renovations would involve 3 projects:
1) En-suite bathroom - would involve knocking down a wall (5 feet wide, 12 feet tall), removing a bathtub, and replacing it with a second sink unit.
2) Bedroom closet - would involve knocking down two walls (5 feet wide each) to open up a closet that current has a door. Idea would be to make it a walk-in closet.
3) (not sure what to do for this one) Balcony doors (4 panels, leftmost and right most are stationary, the center two are sliding doors) - when my balcony sliding doors were installed by the builder, the doors were too big for the opening. So when I close the doors, there is a gap on the left side or the right side. Not a major deal, but if there's an easy fix, I'll get it repaired. I'm thinking that I will need to install some kind of extension on the leftmost or rightmost panel so that it closes flush on both sides.
I am a fresh owner of a three bedroom 1300 sqft condo unit in a building built in 1970. Unfortunately for me, upon taking ownership of it, I found that it needs much more work than I have anticipated originally, in particular drywalls, floors, kitchen, two baths, etc. I am looking for a contractor who can help me to estimate, budget, and, hopefully, complete the renovation.
Hi,
Our condominium building is looking into converting vacant space into a gym facility. We will require:
1) Installation of sprung wood flooring and sound proofing in the main gym space. This is 24 x 24 ft to give 576 sq feet. New lighting and extra electrical receptacles are required. It may be possible that extra HVAC work is required as well.
2) Creating two 12x 12 change rooms, just basic closed off spaces with a tiled floor.
3) Creating two 6 x 6 washrooms containing a sink, toilet and shower stall, and tiled floor.
Thanks in advance.
The space is 1500 sq ft ground level and 1500 sq ft basement storefront commercial space on a main road to be a retail store and cafe. Mostly a demolished shell, that will need a kitchen, bathroom, flooring, drywall and facade work including repositioning of an entrance. Potential need for structural repairs in the floor (and the knowledge that this would effect the budget)
I'm looking to have it the rough-in completed by March with additional cosmetic work such as tilling, carpentry, appliance installation etc. negotiable depending on budget and timeline. I am the leaseholder with the property owner's consent for all renos. Permits will be needed and support can be provided.
Looking for a contractor to give me estimates for the following:
1) insulation
2) painting a few rooms
3) flooring in two rooms
4) changing about 5 or 6 closet doors
5) installing french doors and dividers between sections
6) drywalling a large room
7) changing three toilet bowls
8) building a closet
9) building an exterior ramp into house
10) driveway paving
11) redoing exterior front finish of house
12) appliance installation
13) hot tub repair
14) a few other minor things
I can arrange for visit to give me the estimate.
Thanks!
Main areas of focus are:
The main hallway
The Cafeteria
Washrooms
Upgrading the kitchen
Board room
Gym
We would like to commence construction all summer and be ready for September 1 2014.
We would like to have contractors visit the facility, propose the new plan via email and we will contact the best design/priced proposal.
Relatively small cold room in the basement which is not being utilized and may possibly have mold build-up (suspecting as there is a bit of a bad smell in the area when the weather is warmer or humid). I would like to convert the cold room into either a simple storage room or open it up and use the space as an office.
We live in a small Toronto home with a 3rd bedroom that the previous owner had converted into the master bathroom with a washer/dryer. We would like to convert it back to a 3rd bedroom for our child.
The old owner sealed up the door from the hallway and created a door from the master bedroom. They put a shower there, a toilet and the washer/dryer. We would like to remove everything, cap the plumbing, refinish the bedroom and relocate the washer/dryer back to the basement.
For reference we have attached:
(1) Our floor plan that shows the former 3rd bedroom (which the owner made into the master bathroom) that we would like converted back
(2) Photos showing the wall (former entrance that we would like to have the new door), the current entrance to the bathroom (that we would like to have sealed back up), and a picture of the bathroom and we would like converted back into a bedroom.
I want to convert part of den, on second floor in a condo townhouse, into a room. I have to abide by the rules of Toronto standard condominium corporation No. 1946 rules, while making a design. Den size is 13.55 X 15.91 ft, room size required is 11.25 X 9.83 ft. Condo townhouse is 2 1/2 years old. It should not be considered as a permanent addition but safe construction should be the aim.
Address: Yonge and Steeeles area, Toronto
Quantity: 7
Sonotubes - 6" x 4-5' with concrete, and 1.75" metal tube positioned in center, have existing metal flag poles that will go in and out of the 1.75" sleeve.

Please let me know if you need any additional information to put together a quote.
The house was built in 1974, work has been done in the past, however it is time to upgrade it. We are looking for cosmetic updates, we are not looking for structural changes.
We get possession of the house on Sept 30th so we are looking for a team that can begin work that week.
The home is small, about 1100 sq feet plus 350 in the basement.
Following is a list of projects we would like completed in the home, since our budget is limited, we would like to understand the costs so that we can prioritize which projects we can complete before moving in. Further projects exist in the basement which will be tackled next year.
Scope
- Bathroom: removal of all finishes, re-confirguration of bathroom to optimize layout, replace door, apply new tiles and furnishings, ideally move laundry to bathroom if possible
- Kitchen - remove existing kitchen cabinets, appliances, back splash and install new cabinets, appliances, backsplash, island, electrical
- Flooring - apply porcelain tile or vinyl planks to existing floors on main level (approx 500 sq ft), apply new base boards, apply new radiant covers and or remove existing radiant base board heating with radiant boxes.
- Electrical - outlets on one wall of the house on all floors does not work. Also presence of aluminium wiring in two areas, so consideration for replacement is possible if required.
- Painting throughout the house
- Bedrooms - apply baseboards and new closet doors
- Solarium - winterize if possible, double pane glasses and flooring already installed. Roof possibly insulated.
Hi, looking for the cost to take down 3 walls, turning a hallway, small front family room, dining room and back kitchen in to an open concept floor. Would also be looking at new hardwood floor and new kitchen at a grade up from contractor grade. Whole area estimated at 1700 sq ft once walls are down. May or may not be support walls.
