We have just opened a small 900sq foot clinic space at street level. We built 4 treatment rooms and a reception area. We have one portable AC unit in the reception area that is vented out the front and planned to install another one at the back but not sure this will work because the treatment rooms are still hot. We need some help with ventilation so that the cold air in the hallway gets into the treatment rooms. Our budget is not huge so please think of economical but effective solutions.
Thanks in advance.
We just purchased this 57 year old home and the furnace needs to be replaced. It's currently running on a hot oil tank (which is new) but we would like to convert to a High Efficiency Gas Furnace. We know there are gas running in the neighborhood so we just need someone to remove our current furnace, bring gas line into our home and install a new furnace. Need to know how long this would take as we would like to have it done before we move in. Pricing is also very important as there are a few other things that needs to be fixed in this home but quality is definitely important. We will require references and documents to follow the installation to provide the Insurance Company. Projected start date of June 1st.
Hey, I am looking for a contractor that deals with installing hvac systems. The home is around 1600 square feet and has forced air heating already. You will need to have experience with installing air conditioning into an pre-existing system.
I have yet to source out the air conditioner so I am open to recommendations, please contact me with an estimate of what this service would cost or if you could come on site and give me a quote.
I have a 13 year old rooftop 5 tonne York unit on a lowrise commercial building. The unit has trouble firing and at the last inspection we saw cracks in the heat exchanger. I am considering repairing or replacing the unit. If you are interested in bidding on this, please send me your recommendations and contact number. I will call you on November 8 and we can discuss how to proceed.
One Condo to be totally renovated---2 floors approx 1200 sq ft each floor, needs a new forced air furnace and air condition unit with new proper sized duct work on both floors also.

Engineer drawings to be supplied or needed for Unit and Duct work sizing.
Work needed very soon.
Hi there - finishing up reno of ensuite bathroom. The electrician has installed the bathroom fan, but we need to be able to vent the fan to the outside. Ensuite is on 2nd floor so most likely can connect pipes through attic to outside.
Looking for a quote on this work - Need this done ASAP.
My project is the extension of central heating to 2nd floor.
SITUATION: I have a 2 storey semi detached in Beaches, built 1950s, most recently and extensively reno'd 2000s. Before the 2000s renos, the home had central air throughout. The previous owners, in the process of opening up the ground floor, ripped out almost all the ducting (supply and return) going to the 2nd floor. I now have a split of forced air heating in the basement and ground floor, and partial forced air / electric baseboard heating on the 2nd floor.
The objective of the reno is to extend the central heating to two adjacent bedrooms on the second floor that currently are electrically heated. I'm looking for somebody that can route, size and install the ducting off the existing system and get the heat up to those rooms. A quote to frame/drywall/paint the new ducting is OPTIONAL; If you can do this work competitively, please quote as a separate item.
Since the renovation is meant to improve the quality of the heating in the affected spaces, there must be a quality / performace guarantee tied to the work - if the heating doesn't work, or doesn't work well, I want to be protected in writing.
Space is tight on ground floor. Use of duct profiles / methods / technologies that will reduce the intrusion of ducts into the space will be preferred

I have an older home with a new high efficiency furnace.
The previous owner blocked and moved some vents so that a room on the north side no longer has any heating in it and the vent that previous serviced the room has been cut short and drywalled over.
I'm looking at moving one vent and creating a new vent/duct for a total of two changes/additions.
Plan to renovate whole house. The house is old and using hot water heating at present. The water heater is using gas.
Thinking about converting to forced air heating and I need a quote on:
- Installation of ducts.
- Installation of gas furnace.
- Installation of A/C
The house is 2 storey and about 1500 sqft.(not sure about this)
The house is located on Danforth and Main area.
We're a small office space in a town house, looking to install an extension of duct work on an already existing system.
The current system is a duct work tube approx. 14 inches in diameter, and we are looking to install an extension that would run about 15 feet into a room that isn't being serviced by the system currently.
I'm looking to get it installed as soon as possible.
Thanks so much.
Looking for duct work install estimates for a small bungalow with gutted basement and exposed floor on main level. Current heat is gas boiler & rads which will be removed before new FAG is installed and duct work is done.
900 sq ft brick bungalow.
Main level has living room/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms.
Lower level has living area with kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and bedroom.
Please reply with estimates/questions to email@example.com
I bought a renovated house last year, but have been told that the cold air return ductwork to the furnace is improperly designed and the air flow to the furnace is inadequate, making it overwork and overheat. Proper ductwork needs to be set up for air flow to and from the main floor and second floor. The house is a two-storey detached house located in the west end of the city.
Hi. I am looking for someone who can start work early next week (week of October 7). We have the HVAC drawing completed for the house and we are looking for someone to run new ducts around the house. I can provide you with the HVAC drawing so that I can get an estimate from you. All the walls have been pulled down and no ceiling on the first floor. There are slates on the second floor ceiling. There is a roof access, but you'll have to bring plywood to work in the attic space. We have someone coming in to replace the furnace so all we need you to do is to run the duct work so that it is ready for connection to the new furnace.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Looking for Duckwork design estimate (not the installation) for raised split level ranch of aprox. 2000 SQFT living space. House was build in 60's. Currently there is separate exists for heating and cooling. There is a air handler in the attic. We are going through major renovation in the house. Replacing old ceiling. We would like to revisit our existing duct work and integrate heating & cooling using single ductwork. We would like to get rid of air handler from the attic. Please provide estimate for ductwork design only.
My intent is to procure a portable air conditioning unit that will be used to cool a server room in an office.
I require the following.
The exhaust pipe from the AC unit hooked up to the exhaust pipe of an existing exhaust fan on the ceiling so that they can share the same exhaust pipe out of the office. The existing pipe is exposed and mounted to the ceiling.
The intake pipe from the AC unit hooked up to an existing intake vent on a wall adjacent to the office space. This is done such that the unit receives fresh cool air from the office space outside of the server room.
Please respond with a rough estimate.
Looking for someone to do some ductwork/vent installation in 2 rooms.
The kitchen has ductwork that was previously closed off in the basement - we would like to re-use the existing ductwork to come back up in the kitchen. This will involve cutting a hole in the stone floor in the kitchen.
The other room is an enclosed, insulated porch. There is no basement underneath, so this will involve running new ductwork through a concrete wall in the basement, up through the living room floor and then through the brick wall into the porch.
Looking for quotes - we'd like to get this work done before the cold weather hits!
