I'm unsure if my AC unit is acting up or if it's the fuse. It seems that the unit is using too much power and requires a more powerful fuse because the fuse is always breaking. However, we also have difficulty with our second floor. It doesn't cool down very well. Please let me know if you think I should refer to an electrician instead of AC repair for this issue.
I would like an estimate to complete a small job - mini AC installation. It may require to install a frame and to seal the gaps and holes around the AC. Please see the picture to get an idea. I'm looking for a professional and experienced person.
Please note: I don't have an AC. I already have it.
Thank you.
Need some one to check why my AC/Heating is only working in the front of the house.
I am a senior (81) and need GOOD AND HONEST advice. Could this be to do with my ducts. Had renovations done a few years ago> I noticed a difference but my husband when he was here didn't so I just put up with it. I am now on my own and would like to know how expensive a job it is.

We have just opened a small 900sq foot clinic space at street level. We built 4 treatment rooms and a reception area. We have one portable AC unit in the reception area that is vented out the front and planned to install another one at the back but not sure this will work because the treatment rooms are still hot. We need some help with ventilation so that the cold air in the hallway gets into the treatment rooms. Our budget is not huge so please think of economical but effective solutions.
Thanks in advance.
I live in an apartment and heat is not coming out of my furnace. During the summer, I also had an issue with the AC not cooling enough. I had someone to come in to do the fan coil cleaning and they mentioned my furnace is inefficient and I would need to change the articulator. I am not sure if this is the problem. Would you be able to provide me a quote?

Hello,
I need a bathroom fan installed in a powder room in the lower level of a split level townhouse. There is currently no fan and no ductwork for the fan. I am looking for someone with HVAC experience to completely install everything, to get it to vent to outside so that it is up to code.
I would need to get an estimate first and send the approval to my condo board if it requires any changes to the exterior. Unless it can be tied into existing HVAC systems and no physical changes to the exterior are required.
I would like to get a rough quote, or schedule a home visit with someone who has HVAC expert on their team.
Thank you.
Hello,
I need to fix the bathroom exhaust fan in my master bedroom fan so it goes through my roof.
Right now, it vents straight into the attic.
I need a hole cut in the roof and a connection from the exhaust fan into the attic.
The attic is directly above the master bathoom.
Looking to get it done before winter.
Also looking to do insulation for the attic. A separate job, but if you do that too, let me know.
Thanks.
Jay.
Our gas boiler currently vents out the front of the house, pouring vapor on to our porch and walkway. I'm looking to re-vent the boiler out to the side of the house (9ft run), utilizing exiting vent that provides fresh air to the furnace room (essentially I'd like to swap them).
We just purchased this 57 year old home and the furnace needs to be replaced. It's currently running on a hot oil tank (which is new) but we would like to convert to a High Efficiency Gas Furnace. We know there are gas running in the neighborhood so we just need someone to remove our current furnace, bring gas line into our home and install a new furnace. Need to know how long this would take as we would like to have it done before we move in. Pricing is also very important as there are a few other things that needs to be fixed in this home but quality is definitely important. We will require references and documents to follow the installation to provide the Insurance Company. Projected start date of June 1st.
Hey, I am looking for a contractor that deals with installing hvac systems. The home is around 1600 square feet and has forced air heating already. You will need to have experience with installing air conditioning into an pre-existing system.
I have yet to source out the air conditioner so I am open to recommendations, please contact me with an estimate of what this service would cost or if you could come on site and give me a quote.
Thanks

Hi there - finishing up reno of ensuite bathroom. The electrician has installed the bathroom fan, but we need to be able to vent the fan to the outside. Ensuite is on 2nd floor so most likely can connect pipes through attic to outside.

My project is the extension of central heating to 2nd floor.
SITUATION: I have a 2 storey semi detached in Beaches, built 1950s, most recently and extensively reno'd 2000s. Before the 2000s renos, the home had central air throughout. The previous owners, in the process of opening up the ground floor, ripped out almost all the ducting (supply and return) going to the 2nd floor. I now have a split of forced air heating in the basement and ground floor, and partial forced air / electric baseboard heating on the 2nd floor.
The objective of the reno is to extend the central heating to two adjacent bedrooms on the second floor that currently are electrically heated. I'm looking for somebody that can route, size and install the ducting off the existing system and get the heat up to those rooms. A quote to frame/drywall/paint the new ducting is OPTIONAL; If you can do this work competitively, please quote as a separate item.
Since the renovation is meant to improve the quality of the heating in the affected spaces, there must be a quality / performace guarantee tied to the work - if the heating doesn't work, or doesn't work well, I want to be protected in writing.
Space is tight on ground floor. Use of duct profiles / methods / technologies that will reduce the intrusion of ducts into the space will be preferred
Looking for professional, reliable help with this one who can bring this home into 21st century!

- if site visit is required to quote, this must be free of charge
- floor plans available on request
Scope of Work
Extend central air to 2 adjacent bedrooms
