I am redoing my kitchen and need an estimate for the labor below:
Remove and dispose existing kitchen cabinets. If within your expertise if not I'll look for someone else.
Remove existing floor and discard
Install new porcelain tile floor (12x24)
Remove existing back-splash
Prepare drywall after removing back-splash
No painting and no baseboard required
Tiles will be provided, however rest of materials need to be included.
To considerer:
20 year old house
Original flooring tile in good condition, mounted on 5/8 OSB
Surface: 155 sqfr Includes kitchen area and corridor
Split level house, the kitchen takes the entire floor, therefore no flooring changes
Kitchen is on grade with backyard and parking
Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond
I live in a condo and have a very small kitchen. However, I would like to change the tile in the kitchen/hallway/front closet. About 150 sq feet total for all three. I would also like to change all the cabinets. I would also like to change the countertop to either laminate or granite, depending on price and style.
Not sure what other information would be required, please feel free to ask for more info and I will do my best to provide.
I would like to renovate my kitchen. I have received many responses in my original posting and can not reasonably respond to that many. At this stage I would like to first of all determine the rough cost of a kitchen reno to figure out what to expect in terms of price and how that fits inside my budget. After that I can meet with individual contractors.
I have a small 10x10 L shape kitchen, where I would like to replace the cabinetry and the counter top ( stone ). Install new appliances and sink which I would supply( I don't plan to move the location).Tile backsplash. Replace around 200 square feet of floor tile ( includes kitchen and breakfast area ) - I would supply the tile. Paint. Dispose of all debris.
I would appreciate if you can provide me with some price idea on such project before requesting a meeting.
Thank you
Greetings Handy Canadians;
I'm looking for someone experienced working with a variety of materials and cabinetry to help us put our kitchen nightmare to rest.
The renovated kitchen is mostly up; we have two vertical sets of cabinets, and a rolling library ladder provides access to the upper set. The plumbing & electrical is 100% done. Cabinets and counter tops are in place. Appliances and fixtures are also in place.
WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE
- many doors & drawers need adjusting
- steel kicks & plates need to be installed; while we have most of the pieces, at least 2 additional ones need to be ordered
- modify / rebuild one cabinet - our range microwave is installed too low over our gas stove. The cabinet above the microwave needs to be made smaller, a new exterior vent built for the microwave, and an electrical outlet raised
- put in baseboards / quarter round on 3 foot segment, matched to existing trim
- acquire and install under the counter garbage & recycling unit
- hardwood floor repair for approx. 3 foot square area; you can exclude this from quote if you don't deal with hardwood
- build small platform to raise wine fridge off the floor (to be covered by steel kick)
- reattach two pieces of striped mahogany wood on island for better fit (I believe biscuit joining has been mentioned)
There may be one or two more minor requirements, but these are the biggest. This is my first time posting here - I hope that I will be allowed to upload photos. In case I can't please contact me for photos of kitchen in its current form.
I am looking to build a new kitchen in the basement with the stove, range hood and fridge, and want to upgrade my existing kitchen counter top to a marble one in ground level, would I able to move the old one and install in the basement for my new kitchen, please any one suggest how much it costs.
Thanks in advance

One counter is 77sq feet and the other is 50 sq feet.
I want an estimate for price and how long it will take because this is an emergency and I need a quick job if possible.
Kitchen renovation required. Right now it is separated from the dining wall by the wall (in dashed line on the drawing). Need to have these non load bearing walls removed, and have a kitchen island installed (solid square in the centre). Pls ignore skylights, they are not required. No appliances are required. Your job needs to be finished in the condition at which I can get cabinets from Ikea and install them myself. I'll provide materials.

Our kitchen space is rather run down and in need of a revamp. We're looking to do aesthetic renovations to the counters and cupboards without touching electrical/plumbing much.
We work to be as sustainable as possible so we are looking to work with a contract who uses eco friendly materials :)
We are hoping to get this project under way very soon and would love for contractors to come by our cafè to better make an estimate on the cost of the project.
Thank you,
Kaela
I would like to remodel my kitchen, the size of less than 100 sq.
From top to bottom, such as new flooring, cabinet base and door, new range hood, granite top.
As well, it needs some tearing down. There is a wall between kitchen and living room. not exactly whole wall, but a little bit higher than sink top, it has to be gone. Please let me know the estimation.
It would be really appreciated.
Floor-Premium Vinyl stuff
Cabinet-just simple plain wood stuff
counter top- Corian or Granite Whatever works
Range Hood-Stainless Steel thing
Those are my preferable things.
New cabinets, new flooring, new window, upgrade/add electrical outlets. Sticking with current appliances. Not a very large kitchen. Appliances have to stay where they are. Want to make the best use of a small space. Cabinets to the ceiling. Would like to have microwave (will purchase one) over the stove and vented to the outside.
12x14 size kitchen in condominium (36 years). Some drywall replacement may be required. new cupboards, flooring, ceiling work, everything is currently original. plumbing in good shape. Assistance needed in layout of appliances and cupboards, etc. for best suitability of ease of use.
We would like a quotation for taking out all of our existing cabinetry and replacing it with MDF cabinets - also adding a whole wall of new cabinets. We have recently purchased an industrial stove and dishwasher and they will have to be worked into the plan. Sinks will need to be relocated - and we require three sinks - one for just handwashing.
There are a few steps to our project
1. we have to install an over the range microwave. The vent from the old microwave is too low so we have to make a new vent through the cement in order to match up with the new over the range microwave. once that is done, the Microwave then needs to be installed.
2. We want to install an outlet in the cabinet directly above the microwave so that we can plug the micro into there.
3. Finally, we want to install a tile backsplash behind the Microwave/Oven
