I am looking for a constractor that will be able to do the drawings to get the permit with the city to build a driveway for one car on my front yard. Some excavation has to be done, a retaining wall and new front steps.
Im only interested in a professional company that will be able to provide me with references, past similar projects and have all the insurance and licences required.
Im planning to use anything from asfhalt, cement or interlock or a combination, it will depend on the price but also on the final look.
Pave/grade currently unpaved driveway between 2 houses (~200 ft2). Note that the distance between houses is quite narrow (~80"). Re-pave and grade common alleyway (~400 ft2). This areas is currently paved already. Probably looking at asphalt but open for discussion.
I am one of 3 homeowners who share this area - we have all discussed and are interested in sharing the cost of this project.
Hi. I haves parking spot behind my house (alley parking) and haven't had a car. I recently purchased a car and was hoping to get the spot paved (right now it is full of weeds). It is the width of a wide parking spot and just a little longer. I would like to get an estimate. If anyone wants to go by to take a look at it and provide me an estimate.
Thank you
* Paving 2 separate parking pads - First property (20x30) and second party (20x18) located 5 properties south of first property.
* Both Parking pads require: excavate existing unpaved parking pads, supply & install gravel (Crushed stone), re-grade for drainage, compact and pave with asphalt.
* Larger property (20x30) has adjacent parking pad that is not paved and at a lower grade so some of small wall or separation from neighbor’s parking area to control drainage and run-off will be required.
There is a current ashfalt mutual driveway that is approximately 10 years old. A parking pad with interlocking stone was just added right next to it's left, making the grade higher than the old ashfalt driveway. Will need a quote to re ashfalt and grade the old surface. Approximate width 7'6" by 40' length.
Thanks, Rob
Hello,
I'm looking for quotes on asphalt paving a 50' x 12' driveway. The current surface is older asphalt, with a bit of loose gravel now at the bottom after the city installed new sidewalks. There are no access, transition or other complexities, so an all-all quote is what I am looking for and I will NOT arrange a visit without one.
For anyone who only does resurfacing, please don't quote me. I used Mr. Blacktop on an admittedly patchwork driveway and won't go that route again, given how poor it looks 18 months later.
Thanks.
Karl
execate existing unpaved parking pad, supply & install gravel (Crushed stone), re-grade for drainage, compact and pave with asphalt. Possible option to also pave adjacent parking area (unpaved). If neighbour accepts but alternative maybe creating a small wall or separation from neightbour's parking area.
Resurface existing asphalt driveway (12 x 60 ft); Replace wood fencing (40 lin feet, 6" high); replace pressure treated wood retaining walls (100 square face feet and 80 feet long, average height 1 ft). About 40 sq ft of concrete sidewalk to be removed from driveway or treated to improve look.
Hi, we live in a semi-detached house in mid-town Toronto, and have a front car parking pad, which has asphalt. In addition, we have a common walkway to the backyard, which has asphalt. We wanted to repair the existing asphalt and are looking for competitive pricing. It is a relatively small job given the size of the house.
Thanks,
Sunil.
Hi,
My house is on the slope and I wanted to change grading on the north wall ( mutual driveway) so that water goes away from the house during the rain. Also, small cracks between the house and the driveway need patching to prevent water damage
House is about 34 ft long on that wall.
How much would you want for this and how long does this take?
Thanks.
Hello,
I have a relatively small job, a half basketball court on the side of my house. Approx. 250 square feet. Now there are tiles but they are coming out, probably because of the tree roots and I want it sturdy for my son to play.
If interested, please call me.
Underhill Drive (DVP & Lawrence E). Corner house.
There is 3 ft strip of dirt/gravel and weeds running down the side of my house which attracts the run-off from my neighbours asphalt-paved driveway. I want to have this strip paved with asphalt in order to stop this run-off from damaging my basement.
I imagine the strip will need to be excavated to about 12 or 18", crushed limestone put-in, tamped and a layer of asphalt laid on top, sloping away from the house. We also want to maintain the current property line by extending a line of curbstones installed at the front of the house.
