Two lines of piping beneath basement floor requires reroute and replacement to accomodate 2, 3x3 concrete footing pads. Sewer line (lead) and drain line (clay) both require reroute. Job requirement is immediate.
I am a general contractor looking for a plumber who can do a rough in as well as the final hookups for a basement job in Etobicoke. It will be a 3 pcs Bath with shower stall, toilet and vanity. There is a stack close by and also there is a hot water tank that needs to be moved a few feet over. Please contact me with any questions.
We wish to install a powder room on the main floor of our 2 story 100 yr old semidetached house. The room will be approx 7ft x 3 ft. and will have a toilet and a vanity sink. The soil stack is in the corner of the room and is cast iron. No one I have contacted so far wants to install a toilet they are only capable of replacing an existing toilet! The vanity will be on a wall shared with the kitchen so that the sink and dishwater plumbing will have to be routed through the same drain. The walls are currently open and the floor of the "powder room" is open. I am doing most of the renovations and the electrical has already been done by an electrician. I am looking for someone who can do the basic plumbing esp. for the toilet. I am able to do the rest but if someone wants to do all the plumbing I am OK with that.
I have a old kitchen faucet that is on a sink that needs to be replaced due to it being leaky.
It seems the seals themselves have either broken or been worn down.
The small pipes that come with the faucet that connect to shutoff value also need to be replaced or repaired as they also drip water from time to time. This should be sold with the faucet itself.
I need quotes for both either just the installation services or buying the faucet (including new pipes) and installation service. This I am able to compare, as I am also willing to buy the materials myself.

I would like to put a new drain line from my furnace inside my furnace room. I believe the job will entail breaking the floor and running the existing drain line to a new drain which will be located in the separate furnace room. I want to keep the existing drain for the separate laundry room in case of water leaks. I want a licensed plumber to do the job and I suspect I will need a permit to do this kind of work.

Hi. I would like to have a dishwasher installed next to my sink. Previously there was no dishwasher there and the plumbing has not been done. There is an electric power plug. I would need for the plumbing to be done and the dishwasher installed. Ideally, the job will be completed by extending the countertop over the dishwasher and completing the side of the cabinet.
Thank you for your attention. I look forward to hearing from you.

During this summer's storm, my basement floor drain backed up and flooded the basement. I would like to have appropriate anti-flooding measures implemented in my basement. The house was built in 1956 and is a bungalow approx 1000 square feet. The basement floor is concrete but covered with cheap stick on tiles.
Due to the previous day's rain, one room has water coming out of the floor drain. I would like to have a price to run a camera from inside the house to the pipe where the water is coming from, to determine the cause. I would like this issue to be solved as soon as possible.
I have a Hi-Velocity hydronic (HV-101) heating system mated with a John Wood JWC-111 DW tankless water heater which provide heat and hot water to my household. The furnace is about 5 years old and the tankless about 3.
The problem I have is that when the hydronic heating operates it somehow stops hot water from reaching the domestic taps. This happens even though the tankless heater can produce 200,000BTU and the hydronic heating coil uses less than 90,0000 BTU.
Previously the problem was, I thought, solved by reducing the size of the pump for the hydronic heating and that solution worked for about a year, but has now returned. (Current pump: Grundfos UP15-42 B7)
What I would like a quote for is the following:
1) Add a flow control switch to the domestic hot water to either a) turn off the air handler on the furnace; or b) turn off the pump to the furnace when there is a call for domestic hot water.
2) Replace existing check valve (I have the replacement, would just need to be threaded into place)
The Job would take place in downtown Toronto near the college/bathurst intersection.
Have permits and will send for quote -- Need the following:
*Front entrance lowered
*Cutting of mid-way concrete wall
*Cutting of floor for walk-in closet
*Rough-in for kitchen basement suite
*Rough-in for main floor kitchen island
*Rough-in for washer-dryer
*Rough-in for bathroom
