Stucco and longboard siding for a Duplex:
- 14.5 foot house width (front and back)
- 36 feet in length
Currently it is 12 feet in brick from ground to existing 8 foot siding but we are likely looking to switch up the combination (no brick and accents in siding.. maybe the front of the house is siding and some siding accents in the back - all else stucco)
3 storey home near Christie and Bloor.
Some of the eaves troughs have separated from the roof causing water to not flow into the down spouts. Icicles form between the space.
I’m not sure of the size of the house but it’s approximately 20’ wide x 60’ long. Problem areas are along the front (north of the dormer), South West corner, along the back (just above the third floor deck).
Looking to replace Eavestrough and applicable Fascia on front and back of house, with Leaf guard on back Eaves.
Replace Shutters
Replace Siding on upper front of house and over front porch and applicable Fascia
*this is dependent on available siding size (ie if 7-8 inch available, then we won't replace this portion but paint ourselves to match, if only 5 inch then we will replace)
*Semi Detached home
*Prefer vinyl siding for durability vs aluminium but depends on options/quality/price
Our eavestrough and the boards that it was connected to came down in the middle of the night, likely because of a ice buildup. The house is a semi, aournd 100 years old, and near Queen E and Logan. Probably about 25 to 30 feet of the eavestrough came down (second story at the side of the house).
Thanks.
Reno and addition of Etobicoke Back Split. 15' x 50' Addition as well as interior 13' x 50'. Includes exterior reface with Hardie Board and Front with Stone.
We have completed demolition, excavation, footings, and foundation. Framer is starting shortly. Trades required,
Plumber
Radiant Heat
HVAC
Drywall
Flooring
Exterior - Stone and Hardie Board
We are selling our house in July and want to fix some things on the outside to improve the curb appeal.
1. eavestrough repair (leaking in one particular area when it rains, one area needs to be replaced and sloped properly, one downspout needs to be replaced)
2. on the third floor of the house, the triangle thing that faces the street is currently covered in many layers of old shingles and I want to replace it with black siding or some other black material to match my front door when it is painted.
3. The porch roof on top of my front door is missing a piece of eavestrough, and I want to cover the front face of it with something that looks nicer, as it is currently old ugly wood (possibly the same material as in #2).
4. My roof is brown, but someone repaired a leak with black goo stuff, which you can see from the street. I want to know how much it would cost to put that black coating on the entire roof to make it blend in.
5. My chimney is falling apart so I need a quote to remove and cap it.
6. I am also interested in pricing for aluminum framing around my windows.
7. One wood frame around the window at the side of my house is rotten, and I want a quote to replace it also.
I am looking for a contractor to help install exterior siding for my townhouse in downtown Toronto. My house is 3 storey high. But the work that needs to be done are on the main floor and the second floor.
I am looking to install stone veneer siding for the 2 bay windows at the front of my house, and vinyl siding for the back of my house. Currently, the areas are in stucco.
Back of the house approximately 200 sq ft, beige vinyl siding. Back of the house must be accessed through the house. So, I will have to be around when they are doing it.
Front of the house, 2 bay windows, approximately 150 sq ft for both, stone veneer siding.
Age of house: Approximately 29 years old.
I am looking to buy my own materials, so I am looking for labor only.
The peaks on our house, front and back, and some of the surrounding areas are presently unprotected by siding. In the past they were just painted, but the paint is peeling and I would like a more permanent solution. (Plus it's hard for us to get up that high to paint). I'm assuming it would be aluminum. We live in a small, two bedroom house near Pape and Danforth in Toronto; it's probably about 80 yrs old.
I need an estimate for finishing one side of the exterior walls. I will also need Soffit/Fascia, Eavestrough Installation for the roof, etc.
Since the wall is only 3 ft (1.5 feet is on my property) away from my neighbour's wall, a special fire code material is required by the city. ie densglass gold, hardie board, etc.
The measurement of the wall: 50ft Length X 27 ft Height (3 storey).
I need recommendation on different siding materials in order to satisfy the fire code. i.e. aluminum siding, steel siding, stucco, hardi board combination, etc. If they are all good for the firecode, then I need to know the cost of each of them. Please provide estimate for 1. steel siding 2. aluminum siding, 3. stucco. 4. hardi board, etc.
In addition, I also need cost estimate for aluminum soffit/fascia, eavestrough installation. It is a flat roof with 3 degree slope. The width of the house is 15 ft and the length is 50ft.
80 year old wood frame single story house.
remove old aluminum siding, replace with rigid panel foam insulation, house wrap and factory finish fibre cement siding.
remove 2 layers old shingles on the roof, repair any damage to roof deck and fascia, install ice and water shield, metal drip edge and new shingles
I had a recent demolition done and the result will require some repair to the fascia, soffit and eavestrough.
It is relatively a small job. The repair spans about 12' across in the backyard above the sliding doors.
The house was built in the 60s and also has a textured stucco finish that will need to be patched.
Please provide quotes and I will contact you.
Thanks!
I require flashing around 3 sides of 3rd floor flat roof that is approx 15ft across the back wall and approx 10ft on one side wall and approx. 7ft on the other side wall (this roof is actually a platform for a deck, so is open on the 4th side).
I also need to have new siding put on the back wall of the third floor. I am looking at Hardie Board (not sure whether HardiePlank Siding or HardiePanel Vertical Siding -need input on what may be more appropriate). I am not interested in vinyl or PVC siding, but could be open to other alternatives. The total width of the back wall is approx 15ft wide and it is approx. 7ft. high. Incorporated into this wall are a 6ft. Patio door and a window measuring 49.5" wide and 54" high. Please note that I may be interested in replacing that window with one of the same size if it has the components I am looking for, but we can talk about that as an add on?
Please see the attached pictures for a better idea of what I have described.
It is necessary for me to have this work completed before it gets too cold, as there is a piece of the siding missing at this point and it leaves my home unprotected from the elements!
BTW....I am the owner of this property.
1. require 3 downspouts to be relocated from sewer to lawn
2. require 2 downspout extensions from two upper level eaves to lower eaves trough rather than have
same run on asphalt shingles down to the lower level eaves (house is a side-split)
3. require a new section of soffit (approx. 10 ft.) to replace a section which has parted from the facia.
4. require a few brackets to be installed to retain approx. 10 ft. of eaves which keeps pushing the
current spikes out
I own a bungalow in downtown and I need to replace the evedrop all around the roof with a replacement of the hedge wood that goes with it, pontentialy install additional shingles towars the edge only to finish the job. I also need to cover the entire back of the house with siding. I need to add some concrete to the entrance in the front yard of the house as the walk way to get into the main entrance and finally to do some land scaping but that will be the last part of this project. Please contact me for some estimates and thank you for your time.
I have a 2 story brick to shingle home. The cedar shingle on the 2nd floor is original and
deteriorating due to an overflowing trough or a leaking trough.
I want the trough fixed and covered with a leaf protector and some sort of vertical siding
to cover the old shakes.
Maybe Hardy board or vinyl
Row house. approx. 50' length one side other side 15'. Also 2nd floor on back, 2 story home, 1 side is on a lane way. The house needs to be re-sided as well as as some type of building wrap to seal out the air. I'm thinking about aluminum or fiber-cement siding. The parging needs repair as well.
Hello,
We need someone to install vinyl and aluminum siding on a house extension. We will need fascia, eaves trough, soffit and down pipe. Location Danforth and greenwood area.
Please contact me if you are available to perform this service soon and to arrange a time for a visit to give an estimate.
Thanks
Replace the windows, siding and eavestroughs in the dormer. Dormer is part the uninsulated attic space. Replace the leaning porch column with a pressure treated 6x6 the full height (remove existing brick and timber column) and a new concrete sono tub foundation my be required.
