Just purchased a 12-foot wide freehold townhome that requires new siding on front and back. It is currently that fake brick sheets that are just nailed up. The back of the home has an unattached addition that will require siding on the side. The eaves and downspouts in the back all need to be replaced.
We are interested in either vinyl siding, or hardie board.
The approximate size - the front of the house is 12'wx 20h.
The back addition is w9'7" x h10' x d12', and the remaining back wall from the original building would have been 12'x20'.
Hello,
Our east-end Toronto home (Coxwell/Danforth) is currently clad in insulbrick. We’d like to modernize with vinyl siding and insulate. We are looking for a contractor to:
1. Remove exterior wires from wall (contact service providers for cable, telephone etc to remove whatever is permissible).
2. Nail down any loose insulbrick.
3. Supply and install 1x2 wood strapping to entire rear (west-facing) and two side (north and south-facing) walls.
4. Supply and install ” insulation using commercial installation techniques.
5. Supply and install quality vinyl siding to entire above area.
6. Remove all refuse from above work from site.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience to set up a time to visit our home site if this work is of interest to you. We’d like to hire our contractor within the month if possible.

Hello,
We are applying an extension to our War Time Home. We will require our entire house re-sided as well as the extension. We will also require insulation placed under the siding.
We are looking for a company that preferably can do both the new roof for the extension and siding (including insulating).
We have the drawings ready, and will send them based on your businesses background and information included. We are not looking for a GC - we require specialised specific industry based company and not a middle man.
Thank you, Jon.
I just bought an older home on the south east end of Toronto and need the insulbrick siding on three sides to be covered or replaced. The home is around 2000 square feet and most of the homes on the street have coved the insulbrick with vinyl siding.
If you are available I would love an estimate asap.
Thank you,
Sarah
I need the following done to the back of the house
1. Shingles need to be removed and siding along with insulation placed around the back of the house (small area - it is a row house)
2. I need some concrete work done around the base of the house out the back (there are a few cracks and holes that need to be levelled and redone.
3. We need a shack at the back of the house demo'd - used to be a mud room but very small and kind of falling apart.
4. We need a concrete pad poured so we can eventually put up a new mud room to mirror our neighbours house.
5. We need a TV antenna taken down (this is kind of random I know - but if you know someone who can do it, it would be a bonus but not essential.
Items 1-4 are far more important.
the exterior of this house was done with sheets of a chip board material, having a pseudo stucco finish, with wood strapping between the boards. Much of this material has rotted at the bottom and warped in other areas. It needs to be removed and replaced with vinyl siding. The job may involve insulating the area and dealing with any other issues that moisture or exposure to soil may have caused. Foundation work may also be involved and a full investigation of these things must be conducted before covering with new siding.
I need someone who is experienced in these areas and is willing to do a job that will eliminate any danger of future deterioration to the house interior. The work area is also very narrow.
I've priced vinyl siding for the mansard wall(front of house) at $950 installed. I don't particularly want to go that route. I'd like to know if anyone does fiber cement siding. The prices in the U.S. websites are a bit more than vinyl but fairly competitive.
Would like to consider insulating the mansard wall as well. Behind the boards.
Can anyone give me a ballpark price based on my vinyl price? It is a 2 story, semi-detached in toronto.
thanks,
ken

Hi there
We have just purchased a resale home in downtown Toronto. There is some stucco falling off of the south side of the house. The space between the homes is quite narrow and would require some fancy maneuvering to reach the area to repair.
Thanks for letting me know if you can provide a quote.
I have two rental properties along Ossington.
The first one
The current front siding is wood.
The total width of both houses is 30’ and the height from the front shingles (below the 2nd floor windows) to the foundation is 12’.
I would like to either repair the wood or replace it with another siding.
Value for Money is important and my goal is to do something on repair that would last 5-10 years or a siding that would last the same amount of maybe longer.
The Second one
The current siding is Aluminum.
I am having some water issues by the small wall with 2 windows so I dont know if there is repair re-sealing that can be done.
The small wall with the 2 windows on the main house is 52" (I would like this wall done by itslef if it cannot be repaired rather than replace the entire siding if possible) The height is 18'
Second Extension and First Extension on the side is 21' The height here is 78 on the second extension 15' on the second extension
The Back is 11.5' The height there is 15'
The main house side is 23' long and 20' high
The house front is 16.5' long and 20' high
Please text me or call if you have any questions.

I am looking for a contractor to install vinyl siding to my home. I want to have soffit and facia, a side peak as well as the top portion of the side of my house sided with vinyl. The side of my house is very narrow, I doubt that someone could install vinyl siding although my idea would be to install one sheet of vinyl or aluminum over the existing surface to seal the outside wall, not really looking for a beautiful look rather than to just seal the wall.
Need a reliable sub-contractor for Vinyl Siding, Eavestroughs, soffits and fascia work on a project downtown Toronto (Bathurst/Queen).
Approx 800 Sq ft siding
Approx 25 lnr ft of Fascia
Approx 20 lnr ft of above bay window fascia or capping (recommendations??)
Approx 8 Window and door caps
Project ready to start. Deadline date of 08/31. Will award project by Thursday 08/25
If you can meet the above timeline, please respond for appointment and address.
regards,
Jamal S.
My semi-detached shed in my backyard was just removed. I need to have my neighbour's half of the shed (the previous joined wall) waterproofed and would like to have siding installed on that one wall. I have a lot of hardie board siding (from a previous project) but will need to purchase a bit more to finish the job.
Currently, the wall is cinder blocks (3/4 of the way up.) It is wood at the top.
I will be able to provide pictures if necessary.
