I'm looking for someone local to help rebuild our deck. We ran into carpenter ant damage with our sunroom last year due to a rotten ledger board. The sunroom has been rebuilt but the deck still needs work. Its an 14x30 area 12" off the ground. I'm looking for someone to retrofit (if possible) a proper foundation for an existing 12x16 foot section of deck plus foundation for another 14x14 section we dismantled last year. Some minor grading required and I'll take care of the decking myself.
I'm looking to have a deck built in my back yard. The dimensions would be roughly 14 feet by 24 feet (with an 8 x 8 hot tub in one side of it, where there would be about 2 feet around the hot tub on each side; note that there's an existing concrete pad on which the hot tub will go). There's already an existing deck that's about 12 x 8.5 feet. I'm open to extending it, or to having it removed and building an entirely new deck in its place. I know it's a busy time of year, but I am hoping to have the work done by mid-July at the latest (we need to have the work done by then for our lender). Please let me know if you can come and do an in-house estimate.
Thanks,
Katie
I'm looking for a patio roof for part of my raised cedar deck along the wall covering an area of around 7-8 feet x 15-16 feet. The purpose is protection from rain and snow while preserving the sunshine and view of our backyard. An acrylic roof system sounds interesting. Am posting two pics. The first one is of my deck and the others are some ideas.
We're looking for estimates to replace two 8-foot posts supporting the roof over our front porch. The current posts appear to be 4x4 beams with 1x6 cladding, and we'd be looking to replace these with something similar. It looks to be about one day's worth of work + materials, etc.
Our budget is closer to the $500 end of the range listed above.
