I have an immediate need for the repair of an open corner of drywall (approx 140 degree open corner of alcove) We had a roof leak that the moisture has exposed the drywall tape in the corner. The corner needs to be retaped (floor to ceiling), mud and sanding. In a second room, I need various filling done, the largest being a door knob hole through the drywall. Patching in a new piece of drywall will likely be necessary, then mud and sand.
Need someone on fairly short notice, we are replacing floors and they are coming in next week to begin. We'd like to have it done before the new flooring comes in.
I recently had my laundry moved to the second floor. I’m needing someone to come in Dec 28/29 to do the taping and sanding of my living room ceiling. I’ll also need the laundry closet and linen closet sanded. There is also a bathroom in the basement which needs taping. Basically a few areas where I’m at the point of needing to do a job I’m really not the best at.
I am the owner of a student rental property that requires some repairs. I am looking for someone who can drywall a portion of two separate walls as well as repair the bottom portion of a wall in one of the bathrooms caused by water damage.
I also want to have the entire unit (approx 1200sq ft) re-painted and baseboards re-done. I have already bought the paint that's needed for the re-painting.
Please refer to pics below and provide a quote for drywalling and painting.
We had an electrician cut some holes in our ceiling when he install pot lights for us. There are 8 holes in our ceiling that need to be patched up (we still have the pieces that were cut our for ? holes.
At the front door of our house we have some drywall that was not done smoothly at all that we want fixed.
Would need this to be done before September 7th.
Hello!
Looking for someone with drywall, and perhaps laminate floor installation skills, and ideally with experience around sound dampening.
I have a basemsent tenant in an older house that I own (I live upstairs), and would like to do some soundproofing to reduce the impact noise carrying from my feet down below into his ceiling, as well as airbourne noise traveling up or down.
I don't think I can completely redo the tenant ceiling right now, because he's living in there. The current ceiling in his unit is some kind of soft small tile. It doesn't life up easily and I'm not sure how it is mounted. IF it can be easily removed/put-back it might be nice to add some sound dampening insualtion up there like Roxul Safe N Sound. But ripping it out and redoing it with drywall, resiliant channel, etc is unfortunately not an option (unless it can be done in a day witout messing up the furniture that's in there).
I'm planning on redoing my laminate floors, and would like to take advantage of the floor being up to add some sound suppression (thick rubber underlayment, mass-loaded vinyl, even sliding some sound dampening insulation inbetween the joists if possible). Ideally someone with experience in this domain can install the matts, seal the gaps, and even lay down the replacement tongue and groove laminate.
Finally, the unit is self contained but there is a wall separating it from a laundry/utility room that is also in the basement. I would like to enhacne the sound suppression of these walls by some means (green glue, quietrock, roxul safe n sound, etc).
There is an open ceiling in the area outside the unit in the basement currently. It would be great if we could add a ceiling with sound dampening materials here to further reduce sound transmission up/down levels.
The floor area upstairs is around 485 square feet. The basement area outside of the tenant's unit that I'm looking to drywall and add a ceiling is less than 200 square feet. The tenants unit is probably around 400 square feet.
Thanks,
--Jon
2 walls need to be completed in a factory in Waterloo. Also, one door would need to be installed. The walls are blocked up to about 4 feet now but need finishing with studs and drywall. Drywall would not need to be taped or mudded.
This is for an employee break room and we would like to keep the noise and dust out as much as possible.
