I'd like to obtain a quote for some work that needs to be done in my house.
First, my air conditioner is served by 12/2 wire. I'd like that rewired. The basement is unfinished and you'd have access to everything. It would require about 20-30 feet of cable. It's also being served by a 30AMP breaker when the max on the AC unit is 25, so I would like a new breaker as well. The other problem is some clamping needs to be done as there is some loose wires entering the electrical box.
We are renovating our kitchen and living room. We have removed the non load bearing wall between the two rooms which has left the wiring that ran to the 3 switches and 3 outlets abandoned. We would like the wiring for the outlets to be removed and the wires for the switches/lighting to be relocated into existing walls.
Also, we are installing a new kitchen and the location on the dishwasher has moved and we will require an outlet to be added in that location.
We would also like 3 additonal lights added in the kitchen space and one to be relocated. The 3 existing ceiling dome lights we would like to be changed to recessed pot lights.
The house was built in 1968 and the walls and ceiling are plaster.
I have 3 or 4 electrical outlets that don't seem to work and I'd like to get them fixed. I am in a two story house and am hoping that it is just the outlets that need to be replaced, not wiring (the house is 15 years old).
I'm not sure what other info is needed, but message me and I will let you know. (And I understand that additional work may be required, but I have no way to estimate that!
Hello There,
We are looking to redirect the kitchen extractor exhaust to the outside of the house. Currently it is being redirected to the inside. The extractor fan is a microwave/extractor fan combo. The house is a raised bungalow, so the attic is right above the kitchen.
Request you to provide me with a quote and a time estimate.
Regards!
I need to have an over-the-range microwave installed in my kitchner in my home. I had a hard-wired exhaust fan that came standard with the home. I purchased the over-the-range microwave, which has a plug. I need to have an electrician put in an electrical box and install the microwave for me.
2 boxes, one that's on two breakers now and one of the breakers runs the fridge, microwave, electrical outlet and two ceiling lights. One other box has 1 receptical in it but we want it replaced with two. Also there's an outside light we need wired/mounted but which we can't seem to get the electricity to go to.
This is NOT a $1000+ job and we're not interested in quotes of that magnitude. We need a handyman/electrician who knows his stuff and can do this without breaking the bank.
I had a fan in the upstairs that was old and not very secure and when I wiggled it by hand, it would cause the lights in the bathroom to flicker and even shut off completely. I just removed the fan and the lights in the bathroom seem to be fine now but there's one weird thing: if I turn the light switch for the fan on (which is now connected to nothing) the lights in the bathroom cut out. Is this normal? I'd also like to put a light fixture in place of where the fan was.
