Exisiting Trex decking 3 years old was installed with no gaps. Have mould and buckling problems now. No ventilation below and there is a musty smell. Vents need added. Privacy Fence also leaning over (but solid) so needs to be staighened up as a part of the project. Need a quote to remove old decking and install new composite decking Trex or alternative. (not happy with the trex as I think there will always be a mould problem). I want this done soon.
Hello,
I'm looking for my existing deck to be slightly extended and gradual stairs built around an above ground pool.
My current deck is square like the one in the picture and I would like it extended out a bit longer into the yard so that the addition of the stairs doesn't take up the existing deck. The existing deck is 16 x 24, with an 8 x 15 upper deck...which leaves useable lower deck space of approximately 16 x 16.
The pool is 16 wide x 26 long and in accordance with bylaws has to be off the fence by 4ft.
I'm planning on having 11 holes (10" x 4') with sonotubes dug in my backyard for a deck. I am looking for someone to dig the holes, pour concrete and set the saddles. They will already be marked by me, the homeowner.
Please let me know what your going rates are, or if there are any questions, etc.
To all contractors... the pic shows the exsisting deck, its approx 96in L x 84 in W with
4 full length stairs across 2 sides of deck. we would like to make it a solid deck eliminating the stairs making it a 146in x 120in deck area with a new set of stairs down the back of the deck and some storage underneath the deck.Entrance to the storage from the front. plus railings on 2 sides, front and 1 side with glass panels
more info is available if needed
The deck construction is close to Buckhorn lake at Pioneer Point Resort
Thanks
Fred
I found this picture on TrustedPros and would be interested in completing a similar project for myself.
We own a semi-detached home
The front porch/deck is old and was painted several times
We simply want a couple of large bushes and the old deck removed and a larger one built in its place. The new deck would be approx. 14.5 feet x 8 feet with 5 stairs and a railing that is wood with black bars as shown in picture.
Small job. I need someone who has a sanding/buffer machine that can just take any rough bits off my deck and then I need it covered with the water protection, we just don't have the spare time to do this ourselves this year. I'm not looking to spend a lot of money here, just need someone who knows what they're doing and wants to make a few bucks too. The deck is a floating deck the length of my home and about 12ft deep, this is approximate but may want to have a look, not a hard job but wants someone who has done this before.
We have a large deck that we would like to have the underside waterproofed so we can use the space underneath from our walkout basement. The deck is 2 levels with one area approx 9' x 11' and the other area approx 14' x 26'. The Smaller deck is about 1.5 ft higher than the larger one.
Existing Gable roof and Front of house has a dormer in middle. Would like to add a veranda - 36'2" x 8' -with railings- 6'-8' w stairs - approx. 4 steps -
Roof to be hip - all posts, pickets, ballisters to be square. nothing fancy.
Have preliminary drawings -joist, foundation, roof...can email - cannot upload they are too large for this system. Please contact...

Don't quote porch boards...will discuss
Please submit estimates on-line only. Once bids are in - will decide on the company and they can inspect project site. Can send pictures via email.
I already have interlocking stones, and can actually have the area dug out and prepped (if that significantly cuts down on the price) but I need somebody to lay the stones. I live in an 6 year old, 1800 sq. ft. end unit townhouse in north whitby and want the patio to go the width of the home I don't have a 'set design' in mind - the stones can be mixed and matched and do not need to butt right to the fence or butt right up to the home as I don't mind putting in river rock or flower beds in those areas. The design can be curved, or straight - again as long as it is laid properly and looks decent, is my only concern. An estiate would be appreciated.
I am looking for a quote on a new deck for my backyard (obviously construction would start when the snow melts and the ground thaws) . Nothing fancy, just a simple deck approximately 6 x 20 at the back of the house.
Secondary to this, I would also require a price on framing my unfinished basement. Total house footprint is 2300 square feet.
Please contact me to set up a time to discuss: Email or Phone
The wood base at the bottom of my porch columns are rotting. The house is only 11 years old. There are 4 posts - 2 lower and 2 on upper walkout porch with vinyl railings on both levels. The posts currently are round 8" in diameter and 8' in height. I would like to replace with fiberglass if that is a good option - something that has little or no maintenance in the future.
Looking for someone to install a new white picket vinyl railing on a cement porch. Old railing has been removed and disposed of. All that remains are the old bolts in the cement. There were two free standing (not attached to the corner column) 5 foot sections and then the stair railing 3 stairs at 12"Dx8"H
