The kitchen needs a full upgrade that includes new appliances, flooring tiles, back-splash and new cabinets.
The living room popcorn ceiling will be removed and have pot light installed and the powder room vanity and toilet seat will be replaced and painted
We are looking for a contractor that can take on all the project and that is reasonable priced.
We own the townhouse and the size is about 1200 - 1300 sq ft.

Must have solid references, licenses, insurance etc.
I am in whitby and looking to either have my kitchen cabinets either restored or replaced and ceramic in the kitchen or laminate or carpet 1500 sq ft in my house including stairs/
I have approx: 5K in total for spending at the end of Feb or early March or I can wait until beginning of Apr and spend 8K in total
Not sure what is the best to do at this point as I may sell next year. Looking for pricing and advice.
Our house was built in the early 1970s, and much of the kitchen is original or dated (cupboards, countertop, appliances). We are looking to update it and use the space more efficiently without doing a full scale Reno. We would like to update the flooring with something more durable (is currently hardwood), replace appliances, install a built-in microwave above stove, install new countertop, and rework the eating area by building a built-in bench with storage to go with the table. We are looking to use quality materials without going high end (eg luxury vinyl tile flooring instead of ceramic, not granite countertops etc), and to make the most of the space we have. It is not an overly large kitchen, not sure of exact square footage.
Countertop for an Island - total area is 25.63 sq. ft. I would like a price with granite, corian quartz, stainless steel or porcelin tile. The top piece approx. 3.69 sq. ft. I would like the top piece to be installed with glass, mounted to the botton piece with steel brackets-tube shaped. I really do not like grout lines but I am worried tile will be the most affordable product and the others will be very very expensive. I also want to change the existing countertops and insall a backsplash but I may have to wait until I can afford these. The island is ready for a countertop so I would like this done as soon as an opening comes up. I understand that an on site measurment is necessary for an accurate quote. Thank you - Michele
I am going to be selling my house. I require new cabinets, countertop and backsplash. Obviously I dont want to spend a fortune. I want white shaker cabinets, a laminate counter and white subway tile. One important thing to me is to have it done in he shortest time possible. I will go higher than 5 but definitely not up tp 20.
I bought a new house and close on March 22nd....
I want to change the layout of the existing kitchen from U shape to an L shape with island/breakfast bar.
I also want gas line installed for gas stove.
The dimension of the entire space is roughly 10 x 16.
There is an existing wall to the formal dining/living space which we believe is load bearing. I will likely leave the wall as is BUT potential to knock down if budget allows.
I'm not sure what other details are required but I'm looking for new kitchen everything...flooring as well as I'm changing the layout.
I'm expecting the project to wrap up in approx. 2 weeks. This I need 100% assurance job will be completed on time.
We are currently looking into getting our kitchen galley style roughly 150 to 200 sg ft kitchen renovated. We require new cabinets (white) new counter tops (quartz) possibly, maybe a couple pot lights and 1 or 2 new light fixtures new sink and tap and possibly new flooring and back splash. The current cupboards are not in too bad of shape and maybe might be able to be refaced. we are the owner of the house and are located in whitby we are looking at a budget of $5 000 to $10 000 I know I know not a lot, but that is all we have.
We would love to see a few new designs or options we maybe able to do.
I am going to be replacing my kitchen cabinets. At the moment there are two bulkheads above the cabinets that I want removed. The wall and ceiling will need patching. I live in a bungalow and the bulkheads are empty. The cabinets below will be removed prior to this job. The bulkheads are approxiamatley 6-1/2 feet long (each). Please provide me with a rough idea of cost. Please note, I am not looking for someone to renovate my kitchen, only to patch the wall.
We are planning to install an Ikea kitchen. It is fully planned and ready to order.
Removal of non-load-bearing wall (added by a previous homeowner)
New ceramic tile flooring throughout kitching/new dining area
Closing of kitchen doorway into old dining room
Installing door to dining room
Removal of stucco ceiling in old family room
Wall repairs as needed.
We hope to do as much of the project as we can, but really need help with the floors, wall repairs and door installation. Also for plumbing. (sinks, taps and dishwasher)
New kitchen/dining will be 10x24, currently has a wall dividing the two spaces.
Small kitchen, very outdated from the 80's, need complete gutting and start fresh from floor to ceiling, lighting, countertops, new layout; possibly removal of wall for extra space; cupboards, sink, built-in fridge, oven, covnection oven, stovetop; working island with seating, backsplash.
I am moving into a 650 sq. foot 1 bedroom condo in a building that is four years old and the kitchen needs the following work:
replace existing laminate countertop - not sure with what - perhaps stone
replace existing double stainless steel sink with a single bar sized sink - Kindred granite/composite
replace existing white subway tile backsplash probably with glass/mosaic tile
install lazy susan in awkward cupboard and create better opening using existing cupboard door and attached stationary door so that they are "piano-hinged" and open together
I look forward to receiving the quotes.
Full Installation of RangeHood in Basement (finished) Kitchen. Currently no rangehood/no venting in place.
Only new hood supplied by owner. All other materials to be provided by contractor.
Stove is on West wall of Kitchen, exterior wall is South wall. Need to run along/under existing ceiling and box in ductwork OR swap fridge/stove locations for direct vent so stove is against exterior wall. Open to discussion on solutions.
