I am looking for a contractor to do the renovations of the upstairs bathroom. Water got behind the tiles and is leaking when someone is taking shower.
Will greatly appreciate if you could come to check what work needs to be done so you can give me an estimate of the project.
My bathroom is 11'3" L and 5'2" W. My vanity sits to the left of the door and the space is 60". I would like to replace the outdated vanity and beside it out a tall but narrow linen cabinet. I am concerned about the fact that my space is limited. I had wanted the vanity and cabinet to fit snuggly by one another but it seems that there will have to be a space in between. Right now I have a two door vanity with a counter top that runs the full length.
There is a 32" wall that comes out at the end of the vanity which separates the shower area. This space also contains a laundry shoot and is a little over 15.25" across.
I'd like to replace the shower tub area with a tub surround. The space for the tub is 59" L X 32" W.
The house was built in the mid 1960's and I believe this is the original bathroom. No major changes need to be made, just updated. We are on a limited budget and I am uncertain as to where to begin.
I need new floor tile, fan system, and toilet. Oh, and the previous owner put a sand finish paint on the walls and ceiling. I thought that maybe we could sand down some of the rougher surfaces, leaving some of the texture and painting over it.
Thank you for any feedback.
Home is approx. 50 plus years old. Plumbing and electrical have been upgraded as some point. The bathroom was renovated by someone before I bought the house. They were very inexperienced. I have a room beside the bathroom that I would like to combine with the original bathroom to increase size and also to add the washer and dryer to the main floor. I am not interested in high end products but I am interested in quality workmanship. I will need a new toilet, vanity and sink, and shower. I want to remove the bathtub. When the electrical is being done I would also like to get an estimate to evaluate how the circuits are currently set up.
The bathroom to be renovated is in an 60 year old house. It currently has a bathtub/shower, toilet, vanity and sink. The floor is ceramic tile, as is the walls of the tub and backsplash of sink and around the toilet. I aleady have all the materials necessary to do the project, because a friend was supposed to do it, but has been unable to. The plan is to replace the tub, the sink, vanity and toilet. Also to retile the floor with ceramic tiles, as well as the shower/tub area.
we will remove all fixtures, drywall and flooring. the exisisting tub is a 32x64 . we require installation for new fixtures, drywalling and flooring. we will keep toilet and purchase new tub, sink, flooring and cabinets to be installed home is approx. 17 yrs.old. eventually we will be renovating the entire house...so this may lead to other business
Hello, I have a diswasher and an over the counter microwave oven to install and I need some new kitchen cabinets installed, I already went to Rona and would like to buy the cabinets from Rona and have them installed, also, I'm thinking of replacing the kitchen sink, countertop and faucets.
I also need a need a bathtub with the surround installed and new cabinet and faucects installed in the bathroom and have the bathroom painted.
The glass on 2 windows are cracked and needs to be replace.
I think Rona would be the best place to purchase the materials but any suggestions would be welcome
I think Rona has the best prices and service for the materials.
Current Bedroom beside bathroom and above laundry room would like to convert to main bathroom with washer and dryer. My house is 50 plus in good condition. I would like my new bathroom to have the following: Use existing bathtub and possibly pedestal sink, existing washer and dryer move from the basement.
New - Separate shower, toilet, vanity with mirror, cupboards for linens and laundry area, replace existing window or enclose and install exhaust fan. Would like to do it in Black, Grey and White with emphasis on the white. Would like to use ceramic or similar type for all surfaces. Flooring is currently hardwood and walls are original sheetrock. One wall of this room is on the other side of the bathroom and one wall is on the other side of the kitchen. My current bathroom is too small
Remove Jacuzzi soaker tub, remove existing toilet, remove counter top and sinks.
The installation of the following items should qualify for the "Healthy Homes Renovation Tax Credit" where applicable. Contract has to be finalized by beginning of Dec. but completion to start beginning of March.
-granite counter top
-anti-slip tiles on the floor
remove present tub shower enclosure (open, no door), replace existing drain plumbing ( new trap), replace existing 1/2 inch water lines with 3/4 inch. Install Sterling 60" Ensemble shower enclosure ( already on site). Install Price Pfister Thermostatic Shower Panel.
There may also be some wall and floor tile work. This is small room. Approx. 6' X 7' wall to wall. It has less than 24 sq. ft. of tiled floor space.
I have a raised ranch home with a bathroom in the basement. There is a tiled shower 4 ft 2 in. long and 2 ft 9 in. wide that is in need of a demo and a re-build. I took off one of the baseboards near the shower and my worst thought was confirmed, there is mould which in hand I think there is a water leak. I would like to know if there is any contractor ready for this job with previous job references. Thanks.
