Hello. I want renovate all main floor including kitchen dining room and entrance. House is about 30 years old and open concept. So removing all and installing all over about 1000 square feet. It is currently covered with parquet and ceramic tiles and makes squeaky noise when we walk.
Can you give me a quote removing and installing separate? And probably subfloor need to be nailed to fix problems. I may try remove all by myself(or not recommend?)
Either find replacement flooring for hardwood floor (1 3/4 (2" including tongue) X 1/2"), Gunstock Red Oak coloured stain. Can use wood from closets to replace damaged area. Must remove hardwood from closets and install in area where damage is. Area damaged area is approx. 40 sq./ft.
We have a small section of about 8X8 parquet flooring in our bedroom that is very squeeky. The bedroom is located on the second floor of the home and the home is approx 7 years old. It was installed by the builders of the home. We are looking to get it fixed because it drives us crazy when we walk over it.
We would like to know how much it would cost to rip the floor in that section off and fix the problem and put a new section in.
