I would like to build a new bathroom in the basement: approx 6'x5'6", i would like to put in a toilet, sink and possiibly tiled shower. Basic pipes for toilet and sink, will need to possibly move and add for shower. No walls or flooring or electicity in the space. Thinking of putting in a pockedoor due to limited space.
Also need to make some repairs to walls, put in recessed lighting in ceiling and fix staircase and ramp in basement and paint.
Future projects include, redoing main bathroom and staining oak kitchen cabinets and adding backspalsh in the kitchen.
House is built in 1986, cottage style.

Verification of trueness of floor. (screwing down where necessary to remove squeaks in subfloor/joists)
Removal of insulation.
Removal of weak/molded studs.
Removal of black mold.
Verification of all electrical outlets (functional/properly housed).
Proper installation of black paper (barrier/insulation).
Installation of 2" Pink styrofoam onto walls that are on exterior side (two sides). All gaps filled with spray foam. Note: NO VAPOUR BARRIER (plastic film) (i.e. do not install).
