To demolish old wooden deck (12x20) containing aluminum/glass solarium (9x10) in rear of semi-detached cottage home in Lasalle Qc.
To construct new wooden deck 10.5x18 (composite over pressure treated wood) keeping in mind the replacement of the new solarium of same dimensions to be installed at a later date.
Deck height under one foot of grade.
No rails, benches, planters, lighting or steps.
The duplex had two exterior front door in the front, with one door leading to the main floor unit and another leading to a
staircase up to the second floor. We want taking down the wall between the two entryway (from out door to interior door), opening up part of the stairwell to unify the upstairs and downstairs units.
The two photoes attached is from another duplex after same project done.
The scope of work will include:
- Some demo work (wood ceiling and wall paneling to remain intact), including the removal of debris and waste materials
o removal of carpeting on floors and walls
o likely removal of plywood on exterior walls (for possible reuse, TBD)
o removal of pool handrails, pump, and peripheral pool equipment
o minor demo of 2 walls (closet)
- Non-destructive structural system to support flooring below pool
Note: The pool is to be decommissioned and not damaged (no penetrations). Structural drawings to be provided by engineer - see attached
- Subflooring above pool structure (and possibly the total floor area)
- Framing of storage/laundry room (dimensions TBD)
- Plumbing: Sink and W/D connections to be installed
- Electrical work (by electrician)

- Mold-resistant drywall along exterior walls up to wood panel finish (trim TBD)
- Tape and finish drywall joints (pull 3X)
- Paint walls (primer + 2 coats of paint)
- Install resilient flooring system (click type)
- Millwork: Counter with cabinets, sink, and W/D locations
- Baseboards and window frames: Pre-paint, caulk, patch nail gun holes, and paint again
- Job clean up

General contractor needed to implement renovation recommendations made by building engineer. Need to correct water intrusion by installing water barriers, lintels and flashing around 6 windows and 3 doors. Building engineering report with full details including materials and scope of work is attached.. I am the property owner.
We are purchasing a 30 year old house and would like to make some changes in it:
1) living room and dining room have carpets - we would like nice wood flors
2) living room windows need to be changed
3) stairs (going to the 2nd floor) are covered by carpet - we don't know what is underneath but would like nice wood stairs
4) 3 bedrooms and corridor on the 2nd floor - the wood floors need sanding
5) one or two bathrooms - we would like to make complete renovations (new shower, ceramics etc...)
6) the 2 bathrooms upstairs have vents going straight to the attick - needs to be directed outside the house

10) finally, we will need to repaint the entire inside of the house
Hello,
I would like a quote to remove a short partition wall including a pillar that goes to the ceiling. This is not a load bearing wall. I do not have the exact measurements of the wall at the moment, as we would like to have the work done prior to moving into the house.
There are two electrical outlets in the wall, which can be removed.
You will see in the attached photos that the wall in question is the one that separates the ktichen from the living room.

I own a home in Lasalle. I am looking for quotes to do a renovation, hopefully in the next 6-9 months. The plans are already completed.
Some information:
The project includes
-installation of 2 LVL beams and several other wood structural modifications. The designs were done by a structural engineer.
-refinishing the living room and kitchen areas.
-Installing a new window.
-New hardwood flooring and tile flooring.
-A new basement service stairway.
We expect to have our permits from the city in the coming days.
