Hi,
I have four projects that I would like to get started with.
1) I need additional ventilation on my roof (Maximums) to be installed
2) I have a leak in my master bedroom that may be coming from a roof joint, but the problem is unknown. I need someone to come and see what the problem is and to help fix the damage that leak had caused (ceiling fixing and painting)
3) I need a ventilator in my main bathroom on the second floor.
4) I would like to renovate my basement. I need to put up walls, finish the walls, install a bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) and put in the flowting floor.
The house was built in 2004, and we have an inspection report from the inspection that was done in July 2009 that lists a lot more work. If we are happy with the contractor, we will continue doing business with them.
I need someone to come and check out the work. I am willing to pay for travel and for an estimate. I simply need someone that does quality work to show up as soon as possible and start working.
Thanks!
Angie

We live in laval in a cul de sac . We have a bungalow from the 70"s and want to remove the carport to build an extension . The extension would either be a garage in the basement level and a 2 floors above or a garage at ground level with a floor above it.
The garage and extension would be aprox 14 feet wide and 30 feet long aprox.
Above the garage would be an intergeneration apartment with a 1 bdrm .
Their is already an entrance from the basement that exists and i think that this is one of the requirements for the city to allow for intergeneration. The electrical panel is already updated as well as the rest of the home . Maybe the roof might need some work but not sure.
We would need financing for this project and therfore need a good plan to present to the bank for a loan.
Please let me know you aprox expense for work and materials as well as any other references you have so we may make an apointment in the weeks to come. We want this project to be smooth.
Thank you for the information you can provide .

I have a carport whos roof is sagging and needs reinforcement before getting the roof done. The carport is approximately 29 feet by 12 feet with a shallow roofline sitting on 3 sonotube of 8 inches . I would like to know how much it would cost to rebuild as a closed garage or just reinforce the trusses at the top making them reach from one end to the other. Whereas nos they are attached to the facia of the original roofline.
I want to convert my garage into a living space with a kitchen island and a bathroom. Dimensions of the garage are 10'X15'.
The project might include.
1. Installing a small bathroom 4'*6'
2. Small Kitchen Island with cabinets and kitchen counter with cabinets.
3. Flooring.
4. Replacing the Garage door assembly with glass door and windows.
I will definitely follow your lead for Material, design, and space planning.
I am the owner of the house and the house is in Laval.
I wish I can give you simple instructions for this job, we just moved in and are in a seriouse need to make corrective work on our back wall. We are asked to have our patio door, bricks, basement wall, insulation, floor to rip out as quickly as possible due to water damage, mold, mushroom and who knows what else im looking for trusting contractors to come and give us free estimation so I can get this work done, we are very discouraged right now :( please keep in mind we are taking our old owners to court and that its a sensitive issue but if we can find one seriouse contractor who is willing and ready to give us a basic free estimation to get this ball started would be grately appreciated because so far not one is ready to get down to work im very disappointed.
current 3 bedroom cottage. to extend kitchen approx 5-6 ft towards outside.
to re-locate master bedroom bathroom to another area of the bedroom and extend a smaller bedroom.. will consider changeing complete upper level from a 3 bedroom to a 4 bedroom if possible.
Home is about 20 years old. If option for a 4 bedroom is not possible, would like to downsize master bedroom since its about size of a double car garage and expand the adjecent bedroom to fit 2 double beds rather than 2 single beds.
We are looking to add a 33'x14' extension to the back of our house. It would consist of a slab on grade foundation and vinyl siding with the roof overlapping the existing roof. The extension with be subdivided into two rooms (living room and wine room).
We would need electrical and HVAC duct work and the gyproc, the interior finishing will be done myself.
This is a small project that should take less than a day to complete. We need an exterior wall built - including panels, framing, exterior siding, doors and windows (which we provide). Total area of the wall is 200 sq. ft.
This is neither a time-consuming or difficult project (for the qualified professional). Please contact asap if interested.
My basement is 38 feet by 23 feet. (indoor measurements) I have a trench surrounding the basement about 6 inches from the wall, 2-3" deep and would like to put a drain all around connecting to my sump pump then seal it with cement. It works very well as is but I'd like to cut down the humidity. The walls are about 2/3's covered with some blue steirofoam. I'd like finish this off to the bottom with a similar product (drill a few strategically place holes at the bases to help the water drain) then cover the walls with a paneling that will direct the water from the walls into the drain. The panels should be paintable. I have a block wall of approximately 10 feet by 6 feet (not load bearing) that I'd like taken down and removed and a smaller room made around the sump pump. I'm taking offers and the work would be done this summer or during the autumn at the latest.
Please call if you wish to examine the premises yourselves.
Thanks
Al

I have an older home that was built in 1952 that needs some remodeling. The kitchen and bathroom are on my prioritiy. It is a small kitchen and bathroom. What I would like to do is demolish both kitchen and bathroom and make both spaces livable spaces. I would like my kitchen to be an eat in kitchen. I would like my appliances to be moved around and I would like to most probably put ceramic or durable material flooring in both the bathroom and kitchen that could sustain water falling or dripping on floor.
For the bathroom, i am thinking of only putting in a single stand up sink and new toilette with a single mirror over the sink and if possible a new bathtub. The tiles must go in the tub and on the walls.
I would like someone on your staff to give me their ideas on what can work in my two small spaces.
