I would like to have the following done:
My bathroom has tiles from top to bottom, left to right with the exception of the ceiling - remove all tiles
Paint the walls
New ceramic to be done in the bathtub area only
Remove old vanity and install a new one
Remove old toiled and instal a new one
Remove an old "bide"
Bathtub unsure of what can be done...either keep this one or remove it and install a new one
Install a fan in the washroom
Install new lights, and accessories (i.e mirrors, toilet paper dispenser, towel bar)
small apartment, two double rooms. The bathroom is 44" X 83". The bath is 26" X 44". It is all quite old. I would like to retile around the bath. I would like to know if with the building code I can have only a shower or if I have to have a bath. I need new floor tiles and a new vanity and sink put in. The vanity is 22" wide. The toilet is fine. The problem is there is the electrical box on the wall (just outside the bathroom) where the shower head should be and I don't really see where that could be moved. So, in a nutshell, how much would it cost to repaint the tub, regrout, put in a showerhead, retile the wall around the shower, repaint the walls and replace the vanity, sink and floor tiles? Or is it possible to find another small bath to replace the one that is there? Or, third option, is it possible to put in a stall shower instead of the tub?
Thank you so much!
Kimberley
This bathroom renovation is for a bachelor appartment of a duplex. This purpose of this project is to reconfigure the bathroom to allow for a washer/dryer installation. The bathroom tub will be removed and replaced with a stand up shower. This will create the space required to install the washer / dryer therefore I need someone who can complete the whole job (remove tub, iinstall shower, install copper piping and PCV draining, potential electrical, HVAC). This project also requires the installation of new ceramic wall and floor tiles as well as some drywalling, plastering and painting and installation of a ceiling bathroom fan. This project needs to be completed within a very tight timeline. I will also require a list of recent job references.
Thanks, George
Bathroom renovation wanted with a reasonable price from a contractor- here are the details:
-Aprox. 8ft X 4 ft (estimation)
-Shower unit changed into tile shower that is spacious.
-if the price is right, possible renovation of sink to an updated one with the addition of storage, new mirror, lights, fan, and new counter
Not looking to spend an extravagant amount of money but would like it to look modern and updated by a qualified contractor (with a tax number to accept payment by mortgage)

First there is a plumbing issue. Water from upstairs bathroom going down into downstairs bathroom. Then I'd like to redo the upstairs bathroom shower section at least as I don't like the tiles and the shower does not have enough water pressure. Budget will differ depending on work done. If I get good propositions that will add value to my home.

- Resurfacing of existing bathtub (high quality possible)
- Installation of tiles / wall covering in bath/shower
- Installation of new shower fixtures
- Installation of shower doors
- Installation of dryer ventilation system
Phase 2

- Installation of tiles on lower part of wall (approx. 4' X 7' area)

Hi, I would like to renovate the main bathroom of the main floor of my duplex. This bathroom currently includes a bath tub, toilet, sink and cabinet with built-in linen closet. It is the original construction and probably has been built on a thick coat of cement. I would like to have this bathroom gutted and rebuilt using standard materials. No relocation of plumbing is required.

Hello,
I was writing to get an estimate for a bathroom in my condo in downtown Montreal. The building was built in the 1890's but it was refurbed into a condo in 1980. Fast forward 30 years and my shower drain went (ceramic tile, unfortunately) so I need to get my shower redone. Right now it's a typical standing shower size, maybe 4 foot by 4, with two walls tiled and two made of glass with a swinging door.
I'd also like to get an estimate to have the whole bathroom re-tiled. It's 12x7. It has two doors coming in on one of the 12' walls. About half the remaining walls have tile. as well as the floor.
Please let me know if you can help!
I am a condo owner looking to completely renovate the shower in my bathroom. The current shower unit is too small, low quality, and I think it is leaking.
The new footprint of the shower will be ~ 120 cm x 100 cm
I am very interested in a modern design using plenty of glass. Clean lines. I want a rain shower head as well as a hand-held head. I like the idea of a built-in recessed soap shelf.
