I need to replace a rotten front door. See attached photo. It's the ground floor's door that needs to be replaced. The building dates to 1905. I suspect that it's the original door that's rotten. A few important notes:
1. Replacement must resemble the original. More specifically, it must resemble the doors in the top right of the photo. Co-owners must approve of the design.
2. Please give a quote with and without the mail-slot.
3. Work to be done in September.

3. Travaux effectuer en septembre.
My kitchen cabinet unit has a built-in fridge, I include a picture of that. The problem is that the cabinet is missing a hole at the top, so that the fridge can vent. I include a diagram of the fridge installation guide, and the missing hole is circled in red. The job is simple: to cut out this hole in the top of the cabinet. I live in a loft with high ceilings (13 feet high), so there is plenty of space above the cabinet top. It would be nice if there could be a vent cover to add onto the hole, but since it is at the top, it is not visible, so it's OK if it is too difficult to find a cover that would match the size.
I need an emergency staircase built for an event held in a park. The slope at the back of the park is too steep for evacuation during an emergency and we need a staircase to code: 1 meter stair width (minimum), with handrails. General dimensions: there are 2 slopes, with a flat section in between, very bumpy and uneven. First section has a 6 foot rise, on a 30 degree slope, a flat section roughly 10 feet long and then an 8 foot rise on a 40 degree slope leading to a flat section of grass (all dimensions are rough). Cheapest staircase to code, no need to be aesthetically pleasing, should be weatherproof.

Soliciting quotes for exterior brick, flashing and wood repair.
The brick exterior has eroded over the years and spot repairs are needed around the building, the front entrance ways need some minor repair work to replace rotten pieces of wood and the flashing around the roof needs to be inspected and secured or replaced as needed.
The building is an older (80+ years) construction with solid brick walls (not a veneer). The brick has eroded over the years and is in need of some work. A few of the stone window sills have cracked and are allow water to enter the building.

The flashing along the edge of the roof has become loose and needs to be re-attached or replaced.
Our intent is be begin this work in 2012 and we would like to start discussing this project with a contractor to lay out the requirements and funds needed.

Hello,
I'd like to have an estimate for the following job:
I need to install a protective bar for the commercial garage door. All you need as a material is a wooden bar with brush on it; the brush is on aluminum base. The height about 4 meters and the material can be in two pieces, wooden bar is about 10cm wide and 3cm thick, aluminium is about 4cm wide, brush is about 4cm wide.
How much it would be all together with labor, transport, material?
Thanks

Dear Sir/Madam
We have balcony (secondfloop.jpeg) in our back garden that is damaged by storm last year. Also animal nested on it, which helped more damage. The size is 390 Cm X 125 Cm (almost 4X1 meter). We want to make it like firstfloor.jpg(simple with nothing underneath).
How much would it cost, labour and material?
regards
Ali
A contractor used cheap pine looking stairs with pieces actually glued together. Other pieces are not the right size as well the finishing was never done. I want these stairs removed completely with beautiful looking stairs with trims done and the door on the top of the stairs re done. They also did the door however it looks real bad and needs to be replaced. We want the stairs that have the half carpet on each step as well.
i need some stairs built from my main floor into my basement.right now there are 7 stairs going to the basement but they are too steep so a couple of extra would be good.i live in the eastern part of Montreal in what they call a veterans home the stairs will be made out of wood with a new handrail. if you are interested the job will have to be done on either the last week of JUNE or between JULY 23 AND AUGUST 5
We have a set of wooden stairs that provide access to a rooftop deck. They are one-storey (leading from a lower deck to the roof deck) but have been built too tightly to the eaves of the roof itself and so the stairs needs to be either re-built or somehow adjusted to provide some clearance. This will allow for some gutters and drains to be installed around/beneath the stairs to handle the water flowing off the roof. Sorry for the long explanation - it is easier to understand in person.
