I have a cement basement floor that is about 2 inches uneven. Instead of filling the low part with cement or a subfloor, I want to cut out the high part and level it down.
The surface to be re-worked, is about 10 x 5 feet.

I have a solid cement gallery. Large stones have been placed around the perimeter of the gallery and slate tiles have been inlaid in the middle. I have water that has seeped through the joints and some tiles have come loose. The parging also need to be done around the gallery. Would like an estimate.
May I send a photograph of our problem in Montreal? The photograph will show a crack/hole in an outside cement patio area that apparently is seeping water inside and under the floor apartment, underneath my flooring. Our question is: can you repair this outside crack and hole to a waterprooof condition? Or, could you please recommend/refer us to some who does this type of repair.
This project is for Allegra, owner of the appartment who lives near Burlington, Vermont. She does not speak French and mine (her father in Albquerque, NM)is not very good. I could describe the problem in French, however, but if you responded in French, I probably would not understand. She needs to have this work done as soon as possible.
Merci beaucoup, Ray C
Our office is 1109 square feet. It currently has a short pile carpet that needs to be removed. I'm looking for some budget options to replace it and would be interested in getting some quotes to have the old carpet removed and...
-just have the concrete underneath painted
-replaced with an affordable wood laminate
The office consists of one large room and 3 smaller rooms.
We are looking for a repairing of ours outdoors stairs made of concrete ( for a total of around ten- it's the stairs driving to the two underground condominium units level ). Maybe we could also do a repairing of the stairs from the main entrance ( driving to the six others condominium units ) but it's less broken there and the decision obviously could depend of the price.
The building was constructed in 1998 and no restoration have been done yet for the stairs.
Then stairs are lmost three feet large for the undreground level.
I would like t get a written estimate for redoing the cement floor due to pyrite in the garage.
12 feet wide X 25 long approx.
The quote MUST INCLUDE digging and removing the OLD rocks and redoing the whole floor with new 3/4 net rocks plus cement and leveling. Plus the removal/storage of the equipment present in the garage
Include the drain and plate that goes to the city sewers
Please see attached report
Test has been performed,
Pave-uni in two sections of the bard yard was improperly laid out by previous owner and his hired contractor. No cement borders or filling sand was used, hence some parts of the stones are now out of place and not very visual appealing. One section of the pave is located along a pool and the work area is roughly 1.8M by 10.23M. The second section is along the left side of the house and measures 3.25M by 2.06M.
We are looking at doing some major renovations on our 1939 duplex.
The job has to do with cement, and supporting structures.
I want to build either a window in the back of the house or a door that goes to the back yard. Ie, we have to cut out the cement foundation. Is this possible and if so how much will it cost?
Also, in the basement, there is a wall, in the middle, that is made of solid concrete. I assume that this is a foundation structure.
My question, can we cut a door way out of this?
Also, the living/dinning room above the garage (cement ceiling), has a sagging floor.
Does that need to be addressed or is that ok?
How much / can we build a kitchen in the dinning room?
If this job interests you, come take a look, and give me an estimate.
I am after testing how old this piece of wood inside my poured concrete wall.
Or how old the cement on the poured concrete wall....
Here is a link demonstrating the situation:click here much does it cost?
What is the procedure of testing?
