Hello,
I would like to get an estimate for my renovation projects:
Kitchen: demolition of old cabinets and linoleum floor, installation of ceramic floor, back splash and dishwasher (small kitchen)
Bathroom: Demolition of bath tub, toilet, shower, vanity, farmacy and ceramic floor. Installation of new ceramic floor, bath tub, shower, toilet, vanity and farmacy.
Hey,
I have just bought a fixer upper duplex. Both bathrooms and kitchens need to be gutted and rebuilt.
My goal is to have a pro assist (I should say teach) me in doing the upstairs and I could tackle the downstairs alone.
I don't even know if this service exists. Someone sort of like the guy on income property.
So can someone deal with an apprentice, and how much is the hourly wage. I know the cost of material.
I'm looking at starting around mid july but need someone who can commit to the last ten days of july because thats
my vacation.
thanks
Hello,
I am looking to build a wall to separate two rooms, around 7 feet long, i attach for you the drawing and design for that which show all dimensions. Also, i might need some slight renovation in the kitchen. For the meantime i am looking for a quotation for the wall at least, because i dont have a drawing for the kitchen yet, i live in Montreal. I am flexible with time, but i prefer to be soon.
I would like to change the kitchen countertop from laminate to quartz for a rental property I own. I am looking for someone who would do a good job for a good price. I am happy for you to supply the material and make a decent commission as long as the price is reasonable.
The proportion of the kitchen countertop is around 25sq.

Pre-existing business undergoing a renovation, all cabinetry and counters must be made available in early October. Sizing and dimensions of units is available upon contact with designer, Manny M
1- Our new condo kitchen has a wall that is slightly crooked, and the result is that the counter that is attached to the wall is slightly crooked. What would be the cost to repair this? The wall (about 2 feet of drywall) would need to be completely rebuilt and the island reset. (even a range would be helpful).
2- Closet door frame is not level (off by 3/8"), what would be the cost to level it? (likely needs to be taken down and rebuilt)
Thanks.
Hello,
I have small 760 Sqft condo,
I would like to renovate before rental.
The kitchen needs new cabinet (propose Ikea), the floor need tainting + new baseboard, the bathroom also needs remodeling.
Looking for a very competitive price.
Licenced contractor only due to condo rules restrictions.
thank you
1 bed / 1 bath + kitchen. Demolition completed, prep work is completed. Most materials already purchased. Seeking help with finalizing installation of kitchen (cabinets, sink, cooktop, oven), floor tiles (bath, kitchen, foyer), shower tiles with niche 3 spouts and 1 control, hardwood, and baseboards.
I want to expand and open the kitchen into a neighbouring bedroom and thence into the dining room.
The dining room is in the south-west corner of the house. There is a small bedroom immediately to the north, and the dining room is east of that bedroom, forming a sort of L-shape. I want to open the south wall of the bedroom into the kitchen and the east wall into the dining room.
I need a quote that will tell me if this is possible and that provides a sense of the cost, basically immediately, as it is part of the offer process on the house. The quote does not need to be exact or binding, but it needs to provide a sense of whether this is a $5000 job or a $50,000 job.

Hi
I have bought an IKEA kitchen. 7 cabinets. There are some modifications, specifically:
- There are plumbing pipes that run in the back of the kitchen, so the cabinets will need to be modified to fit around the pipes
- There is one cabinet which is too deep, so it will need to be modified so that it ends flush with the others
- Our kitchen ends at a 45 degree angle, so one cabinet will need to be modified for this (we do not expect the doors to fit on the cabinet, we will just need the cabinet to be able to support the countertop that will eventually go on there)
If you have experience in fitting IKEA kitchens, and specifically in making modifications please contact us.
We already have the kitchen and are ready to start work immediately.
Thank you
Jonathan and Lisa

This is an old condo, kitchen and bathroom on first floor need to be completely redone. Some walls to demolish, some to build.
The bathroom in the basement is part of a bigger project which involves redoing the staircase (wood only) and transforming a storage area in a closet room for two boys of 5 years old. Also some demolition involved for closets on the first floor. Please specify if you can provide an interior designer and a project manager who can work on the plans and also take care of work permits and certificates as well as supervising the team and stay on time and in the budget.
Here is the link with the condo, includes some pictures:click here you very much.

Replacement of toilet, tub, sink, and tiles in the bathroom.
Repairs to floor and sink in kitchen.
Possible installation of washer and dryer outlets for kitchen closet area
Looking for general range of potential estimates using basic but durable materials and will ask more detailed questions as well as provide pictures depending on responses
Need floors tiling but also possibly leveling first
Kitchen - approx 105 square feet
Bathroom - 25 square feet
Also possibly tiling the kitchen walls - 42 square feet
This job is in a concrete condo building built in the late 1970s in Ville St-Laurent.
We have removed the old kitchen completely including the old tiled floor leaving essentially a concrete box. We have found old linoleum under the tiles which we have left for the moment until a professional can make their judgement as to whether to remove it. There are missing patches however where cupboards have been. We have already chosen the tiles ourselves.
The bathroom is quite simple, we have removed the vanity with the sink, but are keeping the existing bath and toilet. The floor needs to be re-tiled and we have chosen the tiles already.
Major renovation that requires rooms reconfiguration and walls demolition. It is a duplex built in the 40's and the renovation concerns the first floor. We want to make sure that the walls we want to put down will not affect the solidity of the building. Therefore the work to be done is to demolish walls, make adjustment to the kitchen cabinets and counters and probably changing the wood floor in the kitchen to ceramic. Moreover, we want to extend the kitchen into the bathroom, therefore new ceramic and cabinets are also required for the bathroom.
Looking forward to hear bak from you.
I have a raised bungalow which presently has stairs in the front and rear of my home. The rear stairs leading to the basement are not on the same level as the remainder of the kitchen.
My project would be to move the rear stairs which lead to the basement to the front of the house (beside the stairs into the living room), fill in the floor of the kitchen (I have vinyl floors) and raising the back door, and knocking down the wall separating the living room and kitchen.
Now to move the staircase from the rear of the house to the front of the house, we need to make space in the living room for the stairs. There is some room in the entryway, but not enough to put a stairwell. I have hardwood floors in the living room.
I have 3 projects I would like to have quoted, I live in a small condo (700 sq ft) and would like:
1) Extend my kitchen counter to have more cupboard and counter space. The counter top is high pressure laminate and cupboard is melamine, simple design.
2) Kitchen and bathroom backsplashes
3) Wall repair in the bathroom near the bath tub, I think it is water damage that caused the paint to peel off
We need to retile kitchen floors with porcelain tiles or slate. Also add backsplash behind stove area (not full kitchen) - rough estimate of floor area is 120 sq feet. Toilet and vanity needs to be replaced in powder room. We need a quote ASAP, can show house if needed to provide a more accurate quote. We would like project to start 1st week of May.
