Frame and gyproc all basement rooms as it's currently a wide open space. Develop the bathroom etc so we have a fully finished basement. Outside concrete walls are already framed and insulated. Some electrical done. Bathroom plumbing is installed.
We have a rough plan done that can be shared.
Hi There, I was wondering if you would provide an approximate quote to complete my basement development. It's 1200 square feet and i'm not looking for anything special. One bedroom (carpet), 3 piece bath with lino, and carpet in the rest of the area including the steps. If you could advise what you would charge (approx) per square foot, that would be great.
Thank you!
Develop Basement for New construction with external walls already insulated. The total area is approximately 650sf. and has windows. The finished basement will have the following:
2 rooms (1 bedroom, 1 other - possibly office)
1 bathroom with shower caddy
open play area
Existing floor is concrete - Finished floor: Carpet or vinyl
Finished Ceiling - Flat with minimum area lighting
Assume free access to carry out construction.
Not looking for anything to put laminent on just a older basement that has some heaves and low spots I want leveled in order to put carpet back on since a forced flood re-do. If I have to re-do i want to enjjoy the floor leveled. Had a quote and person last year but due to other family things that pop up I was not able to commit and be ready.
Basement was gutted and redone and all that I need to relocate around leveling is drywall sheets for one store room. Bascially it would require one room to be leveled (store room) and then I can move those materials to that room to allow rest of basement done. Approx 750 square ft basement.
Hello, Our home was flooded on June 29, 2014 and we received approximately 3 and half feet water. We have cleared out our basement and gutted the walls up to four feet and letting it all dry out. Our basement is approximately 700 square feet and this is where our sleeping area was (3 bedrooms, I will need to provide the size of rooms later unsure of exact measurements). And a full bathroom downstairs. When can someone provide rebuild services and what is your approximate estimate and timeline for rebuild for this basement. There was originally carpet not sure if there are companies that can also do flooring but this can also be discussed. Unsure of exact amount for budget waiting for insurance to see what they estimate it out.
I have a 1100 sq ft bungalow with a below ground basement. the basement was finished when I bought the house. basically it was divided into 5 rooms, 2 small bedroom size rooms, 1 rec room, 1 storage room and a laundry/work room. What I've planned is to remove the walls separating the small bedrooms and the rec room, to make on big family room/rec room. This would make an L-shaped area running 24 x 12 feet along the back wall and 29X9 feet along the side wall. I've removed the walls and now am wanting to move a telepost over slightly to be able to conceal it with in a wall. I have post the details of that on the message board to get any input. I am putting up a drywall ceiling with pot lights throughout; drywall along all the walls; Lament flooring over a Delta-FL subfloor. I am doing all the work that I can myself. I'm not looking for quotes or contractors at this time.
There has been drywall hung and taped/mudded once. It seems to have bumps on the tape line so it is not smooth. I would like this finished really nice. I don't want to see where the tape and screws are. There have also been doors hung, but there are gaps all around them and they do not click shut, the hole is to big for the door. The size of the space is twenty one feet X fourteen feet with three doors.
We are looking at two possibilities:
1) minimum work needed to make basement warm, livable and waterproofed
or

Looking for quotes for whole project, Also looking for quotes based on partial work such as cost for just electical, bathroom completion, etc. Basement is approx 800 square feet.
I can provide drawings and details on contact. Generally, 1000 square feet of basement space to be fit up with bedrooms, bathroom and a kitchenette. Bedroom windows have been cut into concrete walls with window wells installed.
Hi, I'm in need of a complete basement renovation on 1145 sq. ft. bungalow in Regina. Current condition of basement: all four walls steel-beam reinforced to engineer's specs, spray foam insulation on all four walls, 3 new windows installed, some framing done, some electrical done (although this may need to be redone). If your company does not do design ideas, layout and blueprints, I will have someone else do that before you do the work. Job will require extensive work, such as built-in wall unit with natural gas fireplace, built-in storage ideas, and complete 3 piece bathroom (no existing plumbing). As we started this project ourselves, we do have some materials ready to be used such as most of the drywall, some 2x4s, and some electrical supplies - would want these supplies used up by you, of course. Really looking for licensed, insured, HONEST, and dependable contractor to get the entire high quality job done within a good time frame at a decent price! I will also need at least 3 references from you - people who are willing to show me and discuss your work. If this is do-able by you, please contact me with a basic estimate or with details to set up an appt. to make an estimate. Thanks very much!!
I am purchasing a 1955 home that needs foundational repair. The basement is presently finished but two of the exterior walls need bracing and at least one probably two of the interior walls need to be floated. I will need someone who can install the braces, frame, and drywall as well as replace the existing flooring and molding.
We would like a quote for a basement renovation. It’s a 7 year old townhouse and the basement is currently unfinished.
The exterior walls are framed and insulated and the furnace room is framed. The shared condo wall and the bathroom require framing. We’d also like sound-barrier insulation on the shared wall.
The renovation will include a completed family room area, with a 3 piece bathroom (plumbing has been roughed in). We will purchase the bathroom fixtures but would appreciate you picking them up, as we don’t own a truck.
Rough dimensions of the basement are 313 inches long by 221 inches wide.
We’d like a suspended ceiling, walls dry walled and painted, and laminate or LVP flooring.
We realize you would need to see the space to give us a final quote but we would appreciate a rough estimate.
We take possession on April 30th and would like work to begin the week of May 3rd.
Thank you.
I have a completed basement with one bedroom, one living room and one bathroom. I would like to renovate to make it eligible to rent it. Would like to get free quote on it.
Also I have couple of fixes which I would like to do.
1) The fencing door got pulled out due to wind, Would like to fix it.
2) Garage flooding when the snow melts from backyard.
Kindly let me know the cost for these.

Hi there,
I have a developed basement that I am looking to make in to a legal suite. The basement was previously used as a non-legal/non-conforming suite, so electrical and plumbing are in place.
Basement is approximately 950 sq ft. It has 2 "bedrooms", living area, and 4 piece bathroom as well as a utility/laundry room.
Looking for input from contractor as to what is required to satisfy city by-laws, what is cost-effective, design, etc.
Recently purchased a house that already had a finished suite but it is not to the standard we would like. Suite is approximately 900 sq ft, 1 bedroom, plumbing complete. There are several small things that weren't done well and some larger projects we'd like to tackle as well. Flooring is lifting, drywall taping and painting were poorly done, kitchen needs more cabinets/counters, would like to tile bathroom, main house electrical panel is in suite - would like it moved to be accessible to the rest of the house, poor sound insulation between main floor and basement. We'd also like to finish the shared area of the basement - laundry & common hallway.
Not related to basement renovations but also looking to re-grading front yard and side driveway and to repair foundation around front steps/cold storage room as a small amount of water came in this spring.
For the right person there could be various other "handy" jobs around the property in the coming months.
My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a house. The home inspector has indicated that one of the basement walls needs to be braced. There is approximately 1.5 inches of bowing in the wall. The house is a 4-level split and the wall that needs to be braced has a crawl space in the basement and two bedrooms with a bathroom in between on the third level. The home inspector indicated that the braces would have to extend up into the walls of the third level.
I don't have a measurement on the wall itself but the dimensions of the rooms are Bedroom (11 feet), bathroom (6.5 feet), bedroom (11 feet). Making the wall approximately 30 feet long.
We are looking to get an estimate on the cost of bracing this wall.
