We have a large open office where we are looking to add a small boardroom within approx 200sq foot area and 4 small offices within approx 180 sq. ft. We have done a rough drawing and estimate that we would need 80 feet of drywall with 5 doors within that 80 feet. We are just looking to get an approximate estimate of how much the total project would cost. $10,000? $20,000?
this project is a an addition to the back of the house off the kitchen. House is a 900 Sq ft bungalow build in 1976. Well maintained. Would like to add a 16 x 18 ft addition to back of house off if kitchen. Do not need a basement, only a foundation with crawl space. Would like 18 ft opening on exterior wall, therefore exterior wall needs to be supported without use of teleposts to give "open" feeling. Will need 2 windows, 1 single no ventilation, 1 double with ventilation, 1 set of garden doors and 1 exterior entrance. Interior will be open, vaulted ceiling if possible, with a 5ft by 11 ft mudroom for the exterior door. No need to quote exterior siding, interior flooring, interior painting or shingles. Would like interior drywall completed to undercoat stage.
Site Conditions - good access to front; moderate to side
House - 25 years
Project Description:
Assessing viability of expanding overtop of current Carport. Expect access to be via a new hallway in current Master Bedroom. Will likely need to expand master Bedroom out by same width of hallway (2 1/2 ft). Current Carport is 20ftx20ft and looking to maximize new room ( new master bedroom) - Room to contain walking closet and bathroom (Shower - no tub); will need to install 3-4 steps from current level to new room.
Additionally, assessing viability of direct access from carport to house; currently two doors are 90 degrees to each other, about 6 ft apart, and 1 step.
Additionally, change out 5 Windows (4 open) and front window (currently 4 panesx1.5ftx5ft roughly)
Additionally, add a layer of external insulation, facia, soffit and siding.
Thats it for first thoughts.
Many thanks.

The house is 44 years old and we are building an in-law suite above our existing garage. We are looking for a contractor to do the exterior work (e.g., additional concrete piles around the footing of the garage, remove garage roof and replace with suite flooring, plumbing, wiring, external walls of suite, new roofing, etc.).
The mobile home was built in 2000 and has a peaked shingled roof. It is situated on an owned lot in Saskatoon. We want to build an addition about 14x34 that would contain a small bed room and bathroom, a laundry area and the rest would be family room. It would be attached to the back door and we would like a flat or slitely sloped roof. We are not interested in trying to joint 2 peaked roofs as we own another mobile home where that was done and have had many problems. We would want the addition to have its own water heater and furnace, and vinal siding and a door
Looking to add a 12 x 24 addition to our 2001 mobile home. We would like 2x6 construction. It needs no basement and will sit on paver stones. We would require 2 windows ( approx. 4 x4) an exterior door plus a screen door. We do not want it attached solidly as it needs some flexibility and we would want a lean-2 style roof. It needs no plumbing or ductwork. We want to heat with electric baseboard heaters. We are looking for basic drywall, mudding and taping. We'll paint it. Laminate floors and baseboards. Skirting and vinyl siding and shingling.
