Bathroom walls and ceiling need to be replaced. The drywall is bubbling and the paint is peeling. The ceiling is also growing mold that I can't clean. This is just a modular home that's about 20 years old and the bathroom isn't that big. I would like to have a pricing estimate as well as to know how long this will take to complete.
approx 13 yr old house. Looking to complete a few renos, likely in stages.
1. Renovate main bathroom
2. Renovate ensuite bathroom
a. Both above include the following (supply & install):
Low flow toilets
Vanity including sink & faucets
Ceramic tile flooring
Baseboards
Doors casing
Ensuite includes replacing existing shower new shower, tiled backsplash, shower fixtures
Supply & install up to 670 sq. ft. of laminate flooring, including 12 stairs
Supply & install up to 300 sq. ft. of vinyl flooring fir kitchen
Supply & install up to 600 sq. ft. of Berber-type carpet for bsmt flooring
This project includes, a possible gutting out of the old tiles which are losing grout and insert of a one piece tub/shower liner. There is movement of the faucets and shower dial, which could be a loose hardware from the frame or rotting if water damage has occured. Possible replacement of frame and hardware (plumbing) if damaged. If the bathroom cannot manage a liner (bathroom too small without more renovations) then may need to re-tile and grout when faucets are reattached and sealed.
I live in a 2 bedroom condo, built in 2003. Unsure if construction has been done since the builders completed the appartment.
The bathroom size is...8.5' x 5' x 7.25'
Shower/bath area is... 5' x 7.25' x 2.5'

We have a Ensuite, Jack and Jill bathroom and a Guest bathroom we want to renovate.
Ensuite: Demolition of existing ensuite, supply and install waterproof shower base, walls and curb. Tile full shower including ceiling. Install new rainhead and diverter to handheld shower for one wall. New double sink vanity with solid vanity top, sinks and faucets, possibly an upper cabinet. Tile bathtub box and surround to window height, floor. Paint one color with two coats.
Jack and Jill Bathroom: Demo remaining tile floor and surrounding bathtub. Will have to put in some new drywall/tapping/mudding to get walls paint ready. New double sink vanity with solid vanity top, double sinks and faucets. Tile floor and bathtub surround. Paint one color with 2 coats.
Guest bathroom: We are unsure whether we will put new tile in this bathroom. We may just put a new vanity, add some tile surrounding vanity and paint one color with 2 coats.
We have a set budget in place and would like to get some quotes in place.
Our main floor bathroom was originally a small 3 piece. My brother in law came down one weekend and tore down some walls, reframed it, put in door, rewired it and put in a corner shower. There is still a lot of work that needs to be done in the bathroom to make it accessible for my husband, who will be coming home from hospital soon after 2 months. The original vanity, mirror, backsplash and toilet all needs to be replaced, and the flooring needs to be done. I also have to find someone who would be willing to put up a sturdy railing for the stairs leading to the house. I am needing this work done as soon as possible so my husband can come home from the hospital.
Current master bath has 32" fibreglass shower, 2 person cultured marble jacuzzi tub with jets on marble deck, 2 vanities, separate toilet (water closet), laminate countertops, drop in sinks, vinyl flooring.
Looking for full demolition of existing bathroom. Would like to maintain 2 separate vanities, larger tile shower, stand alone single bathtub, tile floor, new under mount sinks, paint.
Hi, here's what I'm looking for...
I have a brand new house and I am going to finish the basement. Before I start, I would like to have someone install a bathtub, rough in the plumbing fixtures (toilet & sink) and probably frame the bathroom as necessary to complete this project. I'm looking for an estimate on this - the basment is completely open, I believe everything is there to make it a "fairly" simple process. Let me know.
Thanks, Travis McKenzie.
Hello. I need a bathroom built in a new contruction commercial bay. The bathroom will need a basic toilet, pedestal sink, and mirror. I can provide these as well. I know there needs to be a 5 foot clearance on the inside so the measurements are 5ft by 7ft.
I am looking for an on-line estimate only.
I have a lisc. electrician able to do the electrical work if that helps, and a contractor able to frame.
As I said it's a brand new bay already roughly plumbed in.
Thanks.
Our ensuite has a shower/toilet/sink. We were experiencing a leak down into the family room from our shower. Someone came in and said it was leaking because the 'seal' wasn't working anymore. So, apparently our shower needs to come out and replaced. So...we're looking for ideas since we have to pull it out and replace it. Our house is 9 years old, it is a 4 level split and the bathroom in question is on the top floor.
I have a 5' tiled shower and I would like to install a frameless shower door. I have found one at Rona I really like or if you have a better selection to choose from I wouldn't mind comparing. The house is brand new in great condition so I need a professional job well done to keep it looking great.
Thanks.
HI
I hired a company to Reno my bathroom en-suite, there seems to be a issue on paying the sub contractors so the project has stopped, I would like to review some quotes on finishing the job as I'm not confident the project will be completed.
I have added some pictures of what we like the bathroom to look like, also a pic of what the bathroom looked like and current picture.
The Demo is done, Electrical is done, plumbing is done seems to be more of the finishing materials left like (dry wall, flooring, tiles) also needs vanity and matching quartz counter, toilet, mirrors.
Thanks
Doug
