As the restaurant ages and season's pass, upkeep is neccesary. That is why we are looking for an honest hard working handy man who can do the odd jobs for us.
Jobs would include:
-Touching up dry wall
-Fixing broken tables and chairs
-Help re-arrange the bar and line up drains with draining lines
-Planting of plants and trees come summer time
-Put in some metal wall flashing in the kitchen
-Be available for odds and ends during the year
We look forward to establishing a great relationship with someone soon!
I have leased a space in Airdrie. The project requires that three smaller rooms to be made into one larger room so two walls would need to be removed and the two doors would need to be permanently blocked off. Also, two counters need to be built into the space. One counter would be L shaped and could possibly have cabinets located underneath it. The other counter needs to have some shelving on it (for retail items). The flooring for this bigger room needs to be replaced with tile. The whole unit (about 950 square feet) needs to be painted as well.
We had some water damage done to our master bedroom last month. We had Belfor (property restoration) come out to do the emergency work (remove wet insulation; drywall; etc.) and now have to find someone to fix the damage.
We are looking for a "jack of all trades" who is comfortable with smaller renovation contracts. We estimate the project will be approximately $10,000 and require someone who can do the work and/or coordinate any trades that need to come through to do the work.
Some of the work that will need to be done is drywall work; ceiling texture; insulation; vapor barrier and carpet install.
