We would like to move the tub in our main bathroom to the wall with a window, which currently where the toilet is and then move the toilet to where the bathtub was. We have a 2 wall plumbing set up and we'd be keeping to that just in a different configuration. What would it cost to basically move the toilet plumbing to the other side of the room and the shower plumbing back about a foot?
The base has separated from the wall. Although we removed the caulking and replaced it several times, the base continues to separate from the shower unit and wall. I am concerned water will get in behind the wall and need this fixed ASAP.
The home is in St. Albert on Dayton Cres.
Can I get a quote and warranty of work ?

1982 bungalo requires complete basement make-over. Remove non-professional job done by previous owner. This includes removal of 74" x 74" hot-tub, as well as opening up 2 existing bedrooms to make one large open rec room. Then reno one existing bedroom and bath to make guest room, and reno laundry room to make more functional. Replace all basement carpet, baseboard, doors. Add support posts where needed. repair drywall and drop-ceiling where needed. Lino laundry room and bathroom. Evaluate status of furnace ant hot water heater and potentially replace. also potentially install hot-tub on oustide deck, if it can be re-used after removal. some supplies have already been purchased, ie. Carpet, lino, bathroom vanity and a large credit is available at Home Depot for other supplies required. if possible, open up walls on stairway to give more open, and modern look
NEXT PROJECT: if the basement is done well, and within a reasonable budget, next we will be doing a reno on the main floor, to open up kitchen/dining area, and reface kitchen cabinets, replace all main floor doors with white, and replace all main floor baseboards. also will be adding wall openings, and removing some walls where able, to give more open and modern feel. Would love to be able to open up ceiling to give vaulted ceiling effect if possible. But main floor project will have to follow basement. Basement is first priority.
