Need carpet laid throughout room and stairs.
Hi,
I am looking at purchasing a property in Chilliwack with an unfinished basement.
I am looking for an estimate on finishing the 600 sq feet basement. It currently needs the walls, ceiling and floors to be finished. The floor can be finished with laminate. The bathroom sink & toilet also need to be installed as was as doors to the bathroom. The plumbing is all set-up. I'm looking at finishing it with decent material but nothing too expensive.
Thank you,
Diala
The finishing of a basement (approximately 500 square feet) in a new townhouse to include insulation on the ceiling for media soundproofing, tile flooring and the installation of a bathroom to include a steam shower (plumbing already roughed in). In addition the installation of central air conditioner. Would like one wall covered in shelving and the installation of kitchen cabinets.
Budget is uncertain as to whether the shelving and steam shower can be accommodated - however, is a realistic budget
For basement: approx 16' x 24' room in basement requires insulation and paneling on wall and ceiling, existing light fixtures will be removed and reinstalled once new ceiling is installed. There are a few ducts sticking out of the wall that have to be worked around, a new door/frame to be added to separate this room from the rest of the basement. All walls are studded already.
For garage: adding a wall to split garage into 2 spaces and dropped ceiling, new space will be approx. 15' x 25', all walls and ceiling to be insulated, add an interior door to the remaining garage space, new lighting in dropped ceiling which would be approx. 10'-0" high.
For outside flower hut and post installation: Someone ran over my flower hut approx 4'x4' with metal roof, the metal can be reused. they also hit the 6"dia. metal post that hold up the 1st row of my grapevines, it will have to be reset into the ground and the metal cable reattached.
Approx 750sq ft basement. Cement walls are bare. Looking to get a bathroom, bedroom, living room, and kitchen framed in. Run electricity and water. (Electricity where needed for lights, plug ins, bathroom fan, stove...the usual.Water to where future bathroom and kitchen would be) drains for sinks and toilets are already in place. Then I'd like the walls/ ceiling drywalled. (Not taped or mudded)
Hello,

Kindly estimate total cost of converting a 520 sq.feet unfinished basement into a suite. The basement has roughed in plumbing. It needs an open kitchen, bedroom, washroom and laundry area.
All appliances are yet to be purchased.
