We are looking to completely renovate our upstairs bathroom. The downstairs bathroom, where my mother will be living, is in good shape but needs a new shower and perhaps infloor heating.
We are also looking to convert our laundry room into a kitchenette/laundry room for my mom.
Thank you!
Hi,
We are looking to get our half bath half shower renovated into a standing shower with either full custom marble or tiling and new plumbing possibly. Our current shower bath combo the tile was done incorrectly by the previous owner 3 or 4 years ago, and the grout is falling out of the wall. I’m not even sure if it was the correct type of grout or sealed properly is the issue. As time has gone on we are getting pretty worried about the grout job done on the tile and just want to tear it out and build a full standing shower to replace it all. I work at Home Hardware in the admin dept so I have a decent insight on cost of product and all etc. We were already quoted over $17000 by a diff contractor and are hoping to stay closer to the $10000+ range if possible. We would greatly appreciate and advice in getting that to work out for us. Thanks so much for considering us and we look forward to hearing back and getting this project started! :)

complete take down of existing bathroom and expanding it, so removal of 1 interior wall and 1 exterior wall(making exterior wall plumb with rest of house and that part of roof would need to be redone) Plumbing to install aqua sure handicapped bathtub, separate shower, raised toilet, wheelchair access to sink with safety features, any and all handicapped bars and re plumbing for washer/dryer.Electrical for re wiring of entire bathroom from radiant in floor heating to the touch less light control, pot lights , fan, towel warmer rack, the bathtub(as it is a heated jetted tub) and of course the usual razor plug in. New glass blocks for privacy and light. Remove old bathroom door and replace with wall. Install pocket door from bathroom to master bedroom. Also would need to install door with handicap handles, to the bathroom. The bathroom is around 100-150 sq.ft. And the den behind it is around 50-100sq.ft. Total redo of bathroom would be around 250-300 sq.ft. when finished. As well finishing off the exterior wall with siding or stucco (not sure which at this point)
Bathroom needs to be completely gutted, approximately 10 years old. Requires new shower stall (all done in tile), heated ceramic tile floor, new vanity & sink, new toilet, tiles on 1/2 of wall, backsplash etc. Bathroom has never been renovated. Currently has plastic shower stall and tile floor over lino.
Total reno of a 30 year old bathroom, probably needing some gyp roc work. A 4 piece bath with cabinet. Flooring and painting not required. Details such as towel racks and tiling not required. This is a rental to be put up for sale when complete. We would also like the installment of a replacement kitchencounter top, L shape, with the installation of the sink and taps.
I have a 2 piece bathroom downstairs that I want to upgrade. I believe that I can steal some space from the mechanical room to install a walk in shower. That would also mean putting another entrance into the mechanical room elsewhere...probably off of the stairs. I have the vision...just not the know how!!
I have a laminate tub surround that has a hole in it and needs replacing. The bath itself is an older model that could do with an upgrade however I am not sure what is behind the laminate? 2 layers of drywall?? the bath edge is a lot smaller on the wall side so there could be room for a new fitting bath. I can do the prep/remove laminate and anything that would help. Thanks.
The site is a 2 bedroom apartment. We want to install a stackable, small to medium sized washer/dryer in the bathroom. The project would require to remove part of the countering in the bathroom and create a space that we could install the stackable washer/dryer in. The project would include to build the appropriate piping/ hook ups.
