I am looking to tile my basement suite walk-in shower, approximately 90 square feet.
Looking at laying 13"x13" tiles. I have already disposed of the old tile and have reframed and
put up cement board and shower pan.
The project is ready for tilling and would need someone to finish the work before the 30th of this month.
Our tile setter had a family emergency and we need someone to fill in starting tomorrow, Tuesday November 8. The shower is half complete. You would be tiling a 3' wall up to the border, then tile the border all the way around, then tile above the border, then the shower ceiling, then the 3 sides of the entrance walls on the left and right. You then need to grout and seal. Quality is a must.
Thanks,
Davyn
Hi there,
We are working on a Laundry Room Renovation, and hoping to find someone to install some 3 x 6" Subway Tile as a backsplash. I can provide all materials and pay Cash.
Length of the countertop area is approx 84". We would like the tile to cover all area on the wall that is exposed right now (over sink, above cupboards, above door, etc).
Please contact ASAP if you are interested or need more info to provide a ballpark quote.
The linoleum tile in our bathroom is ancient and peeling up and therefore mold is gathering underneath it due to the bathroom moisture. We are seeking a contractor's opinion of how to eliminate the mold (if another professional needs to be called in first, this is understood), and then to replace the linoleum with real tile. The bathroom is located in an apartment building in North Vancouver and is 7 feet by 4-5 feet. The tile we are hoping to use is a basic white ceramic tile. It's important that the floor be sealed this time.
If you can guarantee a high quality product then please respond. Please note, and don't take offense as there a lot of talkers out there, that if you can't walk the walk and the quality is not apparent then I don't pay.
I have a job starting tomorrow or Tuesday. Tub/shower surround, 80sf. Ceramic subway tiles 3" x 5". Glass mosaic border (only 2 pieces high, 1" rectangles). Mosaic runs above toilet and onto vanity backsplash with 2 rows of subway tile below and above glass mosaics. Also tile behind toilet. Total is approx 100sf. If we are happy with your work, then we also have a small floor that needs crack prevention subtrate and 2'x1 tile.
Job is North Van. High quality is a must. Tiles must be flush with each other, grout lines consistent and level. Layout must be symmetrical. Job must be clean and shower ready for use once finished.
We do a lot of tile work and I am looking for someone who can deliver a high quality product at a fair price. I am not looking for someone expensive as I have one I can use who is exceptional, but too expensive. We probably do around 15 bathrooms a year and can take on more work if I have someone I can rely on.
Thanks
Replace an existing basement bathroom walk-in shower. The existing shower is glass/tile walled (see photo 1). It was installed approx. 6 years ago by a contractor. We have had problems with leaking for several years. It appears the tile grout was done incorrectly by the previous contractor, resulting in water seeping through the tile onto the backer board over a long period of time (see photo 2). I believe the tile and backer board will need to be replaced or have a single-piece shower installed after removing the tile.
Thanks for you interest.
