We purchased our home 25 years ago and haven't done any renovations since. We have compiled a list of renovations we would like to have done.
Our main priority is the Master bedroom bathroom/suite. It needs a complete renovation. We'd also like to open up partition wall from master suite to den to enlarge the closet space and create a walk-in.
I've included this wish list... Some are needs most are wants.

Kitchen fixture replacement, bathroom replacement and/or repair, windows replacement, basement insulation and dry walling, electrical wiring replacement, shingle roof, house insulation and plumbing. Full service contract with references and written quote. Must be willing to sign legal agreements drafted by my lawyer.
This would be an addition to an existing 1974 house that is approx. 1000 square feet.
The house sits on sand (1 storey) with a 5ft crawl space which has a perimeter cement foundation with open sand bottom.
I would like an addition added to the existing structure, approx. 500 square feet. Usable basement with an upper level. This can be a split level against the existing structure.
I don't need any finishing example: flooring, carpeting, paint, drywall, etc.
Just the foundation and main stucturel walls, electrical, possibly plumbing for a bathroom, all open concept for both levels.
What would be an approximate estimate for something like this?
I am considering building a home on a piece of land I have purchased and am looking for budget pricing for the excavation, foundation, framing and roof to closing of shell. Design is not complete and this project is a ways away and I'm hoping to receive budget pricing for this beginning phase. I am thinking about doing a split level bungalow, approximately 2,000 sqft, walkout basement, simple roof with skylight, three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms with a sunken living room, dining room and large kitchen. Basement will have 9' ceilings, as will living area on main floor.
Finishes will not be part of this contract, contractor will only be hired to do excavation, foundation, framing, windows and roof to close home up.
Based on this information, I would greatly appreciate it if I could be given an approximate per sqft price only for the information outlined above.
Hi my name is kyle. I am looking at getting a quote on closing in my carport and making a new door from my house to the new garage. As well i am looking into finishing my basement. It is completely unfinished, has drywall up and I want to put in a bathroom down there.
Please let me know how much you charge to give a quote and when you would be able to come out and give a quote.
The following renovations will be required for a property we may be purchasing. We are looking for estimates to do work at a property in Salmon Valley, BC. 30 minutes north of Prince George, BC.
1) Renovate Kitchen which will include remodeling : Adding counter space into a L shape and possibly relocating the sink from current location to another.
2) Install Carpeting and tiles around wood stove.
3) Install 2 bedrooms and a half bathroom upstairs. The area is currently open with vaulted ceiling.
4) Turning a bay door into sliding/doors that open into a addition that includes a atrium.
Would appreciate price quotes for free. Property is a warehouse type shop that has been converted into a house
Square Footage: 1056
The price of the renovations will determine whether we purchase the house so the more competitive the quotes the better.
Thank you.
We purchased a log home built in 1982 in Prince George. We were aware that the house would need a new roof this spring and some repairs. After living in the house for a few months, we have decided to update the existing fireplace, add a second bathroom and we would like to renovate the existing bathroom and we would also like to reno the kitchen. Having said that, we would like to do it in stages as our budget allows. I would like some professional advice before starting any reno jobs as we do not want to redo any changes. Is there anyone you could recommend for to help with the planning?
I want a double door, none or a small window, into my basement. This would involve cutting into the existing structure, installing doors, drainage, and an outside ramp with pony walls as needed. Over the door, I want a deck, about 12 x 12, with duradeck or something like that that is waterproof. The basement wall to be cut is not a load bearing wall but this is an old house and I dont like surprises. We might have to get creative with the dirt work but I think it's possible. Would have to be done between Aug and freeze up due to high water table and sandy soil. Turns into quicksand!!!!! Questions?
Putting up baseboard trim up stairs and down. Approx half of the trim is already bought and at the home, the rest will need to be bought and picked up. Also 5 closet doors need to be installed. The home was built in the 1970's, and is approx 1000 sq ft on the main floor. I am hoping to get this job started and completed in January .
Thank you,
Stephanie
