Hi there,
Just looking for an estimate for a fence we have about 8-9 sections maybe 2 posts and gate to replace. We would like to replace our standard slat and lattice with horizontal (see image attached) or something like that within our budget. We are located in Cloverdale 176 & 68. Let me know if you are interested in providing an estimate.
Hi, I have a regular lattice-top cedar fence in need of replacing. Total perimeter length is 215 feet, this includes fence, posts, and two 4-foot gates. I need removal of the old fence and posts, and installation of a new one, 6' in height, posts, 2 gates. The corner posts need not be removed as they tie into my neighbours' fences and are solid, so my estimation for this project is as follows: 25 x 8-foot long, 6-foot high diagonal-lattice-top fence panels, 22 x 8-foot PT posts complete with cement at every post, 2 x 4-foot gates, light arched, screws, brackets.
MEASUREMENTS AND DETAILS - PLEASE SEE ATTACHED PICTURES:
Total Perimeter (including gates and posts): 215'
East Side: 66'
South Side: 78'
West Side: 55'
East Return: 5'
West Return: 12'
2 Gates (one on South Side, one on West Return): 8'
Required # of 8' panels: 21
Additional # of 8' panels for end sections (shorter than 8'): 5
Required # of PT posts: 22 (corner posts stay in place)
Cement for posts
Screws
Add'l Hardware for gates etc.
Existing wooden fence needs replacement along the South side for sure and possibly East. Condition of fence posts is to be evaluated by a contractor. Back yard is approx. 60x60 feet, there are some bushes along the perimeter. On the South side next property is lower with full fence access. North side fence has been replaced 4 years ago by a neighbor. We are looking for a wooden privacy fence with good longevity, no lattice.
Job 1:
I need about 5 (or 6)X8' long (2 lattice panels) and 5 (or 4) x4' (one lattice panel) fencing. I can buy the panels which costs about $27/panel.
Job 2:
I also need about 12-14' long (3 or 4' high) fence. This one with openings (penels running horizontally and vertically with lots of opening).
Thanks
1. Would like to have an existing slatboard pressure treated fence moved to match property line. This would involve setting approximately 7-10 posts, deconstructing existing fence, removing old posts, re-installing existing fence boards. Some new boards may be needed.
2. Installation of a 6 ft high emerald cedar hedge in front of fence.
Fence and hedge length approximately 60ft.
3. Weed barrier and gravel installed to match existing gravel parking area.
4. Kids Playhouse/Treehouse built with pressure treated deck.
Carpentry skills a MUST with referrals/photos of previous work.
We need to have the fence along the alley and one side of the back yard replaced. It’s approximately 140 feet long, with one twelve foot wide gate for car access. We are looking at cedar fencing or a cedar / chain link combination.
We would like the fence posts concreted in.
We are between Bear Creek and Fleetwood in Surrey.
Licensed, insured, Worksafe only please.

I've a small project to fence off my backyard using Aluminum rails.
Here are the measurements:
Total Length: 48'
28' of 3' Railing
20' of 6' Solid Aluminum Fence
3 Gates - 3-4 feet each
The railing has to match with the existing railing on the deck which is very standard type.
Our fence was falling apart. Now in many places it IS apart after this winter's storms. Back yard never gets much sun-rotted wood. Shared fence with four neighbors. Half of one side is under trees so is not easy to reach. Possible complete new fence, definitely at least six panels to fix minimum (up to 30 possible) plus a gate. Each wood panel is 6x8 feet with diagonal lattice top, plus some off-size panels to complete sides. Aside A is 8-10 panels long, side B is 6+ panels long, side C is 11-13 panels long. We are the tenant gathering info for our landlord. We have been here over a year. We would love to to started by May 1st.
Previously on here to seek quotes for fence and gate, long story short...neighbour will not pay for half the fence so had to give up on that idea. HOWEVER, our side still needs a new gate installed. It is a large gate, about 8 ft across (two gates?), currently about 5 ft high, but 4ft is high enough. DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SAME AS ONE SHOWN. We will disassemble what little gate is left standing, nor does the lumber need to be removed, just need a gate built/installed...would prefer double gate again, doesn't have to be fancy, enough to keep small dog in yard. See pics of current mess, previous contractors who bid on entire job may recognize. I DO apologize for any inconvenience. Our landlord is on board, neighbour wants something for nothing so reason why only getting gate. Thanks. (Can be pre-fabbed gate or custom build, pricing must include all hardware, materials, labour and installation.) Please email with any questions. Just so you know, dog is like 5 lbs, though thinks he's a pitbull, ha. Gate also has to keep our 5 & 2 year old grandsons in yard :) thanks!
Hello:
The wind has destroyed the fence on the west side of house. Landlord has agreed to pay half if neighbour pays the other half. We don't need anything fancy or elaborate, similar to what is there, unpainted is fine. We think would require about 10 panels if pre-fabbed, of approximately 69" high x 96" wide, plus a gate, not sure of measurements but is larger than a standard gate, more like double the standard size. The old fence is half up and half down at this point, lying on the ground in some areas. Open to quotes on project with final approval to be given by our landlord. My hubby John is home thru the day so can drop by most anytime to view. Pics shown are types of panels, plus double gate that matches needed.
Thanks.
I received approval from my strata and I'm replacing the fence in my strata lot with chain link (preferably black).
The height needs to be between 3-3.5 feet. The length dimensions are approximately 11 feet x 26.5 feet x 2.5 feet.
I am looking for an onsite estimation, purchase, and installation before the end of September.
Fencing the left side of my front yard, roughly 37 feel, straight most likely will require 5 panels, post and caps, cement and whatever needed to get it installed as soon as possible.
If anyone can quote me the cost and if available to get it done ASAP will be great.
Thanks.
Elisa
During last years' winter storm part of the fence bordering 3 properties fell down. We took the panels down (approx. 3) and have them although we will probably need some materials. There is a small slope on one side of the "T" from one property to the other but no major obstacles. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for more fence replacement in the next year!
