We had a good experience hiring this team of handy guys overall. The work is clean and done in a professional manner, the in-laws approved of our choice so there is that.

I was happy the quote matched the invoice and we feel we got value for our money. All our requested changes were done basically at cost and we were provided receipts for additional material purchased.

I have nothing good to say about this arrogant guy. Once you paid him, he considered the job complete and you will never see his tail light again. This is the guy we first knew when we moved to Burlington ON. We trusted him but he is non finisher. He is only after how much he can get from you. Don't engage him for any high profile project. You will be disappointed to say the least. His quotes are always padded with unnecessary items and at inflated prices. Don't be carried away with his smooth talking sales pitch. He uses lots of sub-contractors. Don't trust him with any work that requires special skills other than bathroom renovation (as long as John is doing the work). I still fell the chill in my bones like someone rob me of my hard earned money for delivery poor quality and crappy paint work at our house. To force this guy to complete your work, please hold at least 10% till you are satisfied of the work performed. Audit his list carefully and do some price check. Consider buying your materials and only pay him labor. He never called or email me after I showed him how bad the job he did on my kitchen cabinet was and the list of items he quoted for but that he never delivered. The guy is a fraud. I held up the last payment to at least cover part of my losses.
